  1. Well done @Steve85!! Please post up some fresh pics. Maybe in a build thread?
  2. The scrape matches the vent! Good attention to detail. Yeah, I hear this. Bodywork on lots of new cars just looks heavy and cumbersome.
  3. Lets make sure our talk of other races remains respectful. 300HP is more than an R32/3/4 GTR.
  4. Not sure if that deserves to be in here or in Automotive Abominations!
  5. https://www.caradvice.com.au/704965/toyota-camry-avalon-trd/ I think they look ok. Not brilliant but ok. I was expecting to read an article about body kits and rims being the only upgrades but it seems they might actually be ok. Better suspension, better brakes and 19s. No extra power though but I think 224kw is pretty good. But. They are still FWD. And they are still just bolt ons. Should they be badged TRD? Maybe Toyota needs to bring back the Sportivo badges? 6. Hey Jimmy, welcome to !
  7. Loving these pics. She's beautiful!
  8. Where was this?
  9. So, one of my angel eye LED's has already packed it up. Instead of blindly replacing it, I think I'll get it out and cut it up to see where the failure is. LED's are pretty simple and I can't see why it would just fail unless there is a broken connection. On the weekend I replaced my VANOS solenoids. One of the old ones (exhaust) was throwing errors and making my car rev up and down sometimes at traffic lights. I was also hoping that changing them out would fix a small miss/hesitation under load occasionally. I can confirm the miss is gone, the revving is gone and there are no errors. I think the car is a little more snappy low down now too. I didn't get $300ea BMW solenoids, I got $60ea after market ones. I figure even if they don't last I can buy another 4 pairs before even meeting the BMW price. Hopefully getting her tinted in the next week.
  10. Car looks great! I remember getting my first R33, this one reminds me of it. Cooler looks the goods. Nice and thick! Unfortunately, unless there is branding on it its going to be hard to identify. Have you had a good look at all surfaces?
  11. Going LPG? Nice! I look forward to the updates. Why no turbo timer? If its already there is it not worth leaving? I never had a TT in my cars, I just drove at low revs for the last 5 min of any drive.
  12. More money for the BNR34!
  13. Factory pink? Did it spend much time in the sun? Is the car registered now? Pretty cool 21st preso - is she a car person? Christian
  14. Hi @Ambius and welcome to Any pics of the Gtv? Whats on the resto list?
  15. Hi @El chapo and welcome to ! Any pics of the old girl? Lots of members have put lots of time into posting info on this site, you're def in the right place.
  16. Welcome Tumble! Good luck in your search, you better post some pics when you pick it up!
  17. Did you try the Nissan JP site?
  18. Haha, can't believe I missed that. My car is not on the https://ismyairbagsafe.com.au/ site, but my steering wheel is an E90 "BMW Individual" one.
  19. Hmmmm the other link doesn't mention e90s at all. I'm screwed either way as my steering wheel is not factory fitted.
  20. Considering the number of these airbags in circulation and only ~25 deaths and ~250 injuries your odds are pretty good. Yeah me neither, clearly some ball dropping going on.
  21. So, in Australian delivered cars it goes back to 1999 (E46 BMW). https://www.productsafety.gov.au/recalls/compulsory-takata-airbag-recall/takata-airbag-recalls-list Interestingly, no E90's are affected. Wikipedia has more info but fails to cover the vehicles affected - perhaps a liability issue? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Takata_Corporation#Cars_affected
  22. Adam! Car looks clean! I bet its a lot of fun.
  23. Worst part of airbags is not being able to test them!
