  1. Thanks for that, sorry I couldn't give it more time. I'll look into the image resizing issues. We cache the images quite aggressively now so might be cached somewhere. C
  2. Been pretty busy mate will have another look tonight.
  3. I've closed your other 2 topics. Please don't open multiple topics for the same question.
  4. Hi @foxjp and Welcome to What car do you have at the moment?
  5. It really depends on the wash you use and the environment. Every few months I'd say for most people. With it on, you can just wipe the wheel off without needing to apply a wash to it.
  6. What was the image of? I'll have a look for it.
  7. It looks great, well done! You've got some epic patience!
  8. Wow! They probably have no provisions for repair. It'd only be an assembly line.
  9. I agree. Even if it only lasts a few years, $200 every now and then aint a deal breaker imo.
  10. Any pics of the unit or install?
  11. The rotors looked shit when I took them off as well as cheaper pads. I've seen more than one sign that the previous owner like to save pennies. No idea how old that fluid was. Considering the car has only just clicked over 60ks I could very well be dealing with factory fitted disk's and fluid. Tyres are Bridgestone rft's on the front. Good enough. Good pads and rotors are all this car needed. I like slowing down more than speeding up atm.
  12. So today I did the brakes. Ever since I got the car I was a little underwhelmed by the brakes and they are usually known as being really good. Also lately I've started getting a horrible shake in the steering wheel and brake pedal when showing from over 70ish. I also bought myself a pressure bleeder. I've had so many issues in the past with shit bleeding and the Bora had weird brakes that made bleeding difficult. I decided that rather than being afraid of bleeding how about I get the right tool. Holy shit. It almost makes bleeding fun. Fill it with fluid, attach it to the resovoir, pump it up to 15psi and just bleed. So I flushed all the fluid in it with some nulon fluid. The old stuff didn't look too bad but I had no idea how long it was there. I also put new DBA T2 rotors and Bendix Ultimates. I've left the rear for the moment the rotors and pads looked fine when I bled them. Unlike the fronts that were lipped and scored and likely had some kind of warping. I've only done a bed in drive up and down my street so far and holy shit they feel amazing. The car feels so so planted on the road and there's no pulsing or shaking at all. This is by far one of the most satisfying car DIY jobs I've done. It's chalk and cheese with the old ones. It doesn't hurt that they're also very sexy.
  13. Hey @Robzilla32 can you check the images now? They *should* be ok.
  14. Thanks Rob, we're in the middle of moving the images to another server, I was hoping it would be seamless but seems the app is having a hard time. I'll update when its done and we can check then. Thanks!
  15. Stunned that you posted this. I had just today started drafting a new forum structure to ask the mods. Eery. I'm wondering if the skyline series forums you posted will be too granular? Do we have an R35+ forum? We need to get some people to provide feedback.
  16. Hey Eamon! Your GTR looks amazing! I had one exactly the same but white, I miss it every day.
  17. Welcome Tony!
  18. Oh hell yes! Quite the RB legacy! Any pics?
  19. Agree, that looks awesome!
  20. Hey @BDJ32 you're best off asking in the relevant forum on - Maybe in the general section; https://www.sau.com.au/forums/forum/7-general-automotive-discussion/ And also,
  21. Hi and welcome to You should do a search on here as a lot of questions have already been asked and answered. Otherwise you can ask a new question in the relevant forum. Good luck!
  22. I hear ya. Mine are terrible at washing the car itself, so I started washing it without telling them. They're probs too old now anyway.
  23. Its just a spray on sealer. Kind of like wax but synthetic. It comes off on its own after a few washes, hence my issue with the amount needed for application and the price. If you wash your car more than once a month you might not need to use it and can save the $30 - $40 per can. I just bought some new DBA rotors and Bendix Ultimate pads, fingers crossed they're a little less messy.
  24. And lastly, another 150 k's or so including some wet (which is probably why it looks less bad than previous one).
