Thats a super cool project!
-
No. Its a very important distinction. Much like a Gruffalo noise.

Welcome to ! Why no coolant? Whats your temp like when you hear this noise? Do you notice any change to the performance? Does it change in sound in sync with revs? Can you leave it running after a drive to get it to 30 mins? Then stick your head under the bonnet?

Hi and ! Any pics of the car? Sounds like a good project!

We could really do with a list on this site. Would be great to get some people to contribute to a topic, theres more than enough info, just needs to be collated.

Welcome! What info are you looking for?

Yeah. I had heard of a lot of others having problems with their led upgrades within months of changing them so I tried to find a decent one. They've been in now since April I think with no issues. #touchwood.

Looks great. I love the stealth look. -
These guys. The LCI ones are different. Couldn't find the exact ones, but like these; https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/AU-2Pcs-Free-Angel-Eyes-CREE-LED-Halo-Ring-Light-Bulbs-For-BMW-E90-E91-3-Series/152920505921

My drivers side tail light has always been cracked. I picked up a replacement and its another satisfying fix. Its so much cleaner than the other side though I'm now considering buying its pair to make both sides nice and clean. Anybody know how to get this off? Its so irritating and no amount of scrubbing even makes a dent.

End result is so nice. Its one of those changes you make that you keep noticing every time you look at the car. Seriously satisfying, its been eating at me since I bought it. Some black glue still on the paint to this day, need to hit it with some bug and tar remover. Passenger side isn't perfect but no amount of manipulation would fix it. I just left it, as its not glued in I might try to fix another time.

One thing I noticed on the car the first time I saw it was the terrible state of the window seal trims. The front windscreen is totally missing and the rear just looked horrible. Here's how it looked and it was killing me every time I looked at the back of the car. The other issue was that somebody had glued these pieces on which was a real mess. Anyway, once they were all off I gave the glass and the car underneath a good clean and then a spray with silicon to assist in getting the new trims on.

I need to get pics of my interior changes... But, I totally had enough of my seats. They were horribly uncomfortable and like sitting on a bench. I got some absolutely mint M-Sport seats. They are soft and the leather is gorgeous. Lots of left and right thigh support and an extended thigh base at the front. They also have air-filled bolsters though if you are larger than the average 3 year old you may need to leave them empty as they get seriously tight. I also picked up a BMW Individual steering wheel! Its so fricken cool though a little banged up. I'm trying to bring it back to its former glory but its already so much nicer to drive with than the bus wheel that was in it before.

I just realised how long its been since I updated this. So, I'll add what I've done since March. Oh, also, my VVT motor is leaking oil into the spark plug holes #3 & #4. Its not much of a leak but its causing the odd miss which is irritating me. Been quoted $800 but it looks pretty straight forward and might give it a go myself. Also, during my must-keep-warranty 6 month oil change my intake pipe was noticed to be not entirely attached allowing unmetered air into the engine. This was fixed which made the car a little more responsive. I changed my angel eye bulbs to LED's. I purposefully didn't get stupidly overpowered ones as I didn't want the angel eyes to be like little suns, I just wanted them whiter than the halogens and slightly more noticable. Here's drivers side done, but not passenger. Fairly different, passenger doesn't even appear on. Both done in the daylight. Here they are at night. Not bright enough to light anything up, which was the desired effect.

Bit more specific may help.

Damn! Looking really good!

Shittiest Amazon description ever. I have no idea what that does even after reading that page.

The first thing I noticed was the papa bear and baby bear differences.
