On a recent trip up Bells line of road, I got 500km to 49 litres of BP Ultimate. Generally get around 11-14L 100km from a reasonably stock R33 GTST running 7-8psi boost. Worst was 250km from 60L

Hi guys, I have a S2 33 gtst and I'm going to go gloss black on the dash and tan leather on the gear boot, park brake boot, door trims and seats (only on the shit worn out bits, not the central coloured bits). Id also like to get the steering wheel and park brake handle done, but I'm not sure how it would come out/cost...

I used to have a fully sick Blitz alloy mesh pod and during a boring day at work manufactured myself a gasket to block off my BOV. I went for a drive at lunch and felt like a fulleh hektic bro. After the 30 min drive home I was so over it, that I removed the gasket and also put my factory airbox back in. RESULT: Car punches waay harder, uses less fuel and most importantly dosent sound GHEY :sorcerer:

In Car Footage: Calsonic R32 Gtr (18min Long)

I was 6 years old when I asked dad why the V8's bothered racing because they were getting lapped by the beast from Gibson. I rest my case. AWESOME!!! -
I will have to post the results from our Optus fibre link tomorrow at work

It inst too difficult to build your own car pc. All you need to to buy a 12v PSU to replace the 240V ATX unit in the standard case (and find somewhere good to hide/mount it). That way you can have a powerful computer, not just some piece of crap integrated graphics chipset ULV computer.

Rb26 Pfc Working On Rb20/rb25
Chris_R33GTSt replied to paulr33's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Nice work on the PFC Paul. I will be down for one in the coming months. I am interested to see the results -
Hi Guys, I had my car up on the hoist last week and discovered that I have a lot of rust in my rear subframe (R33 s2 gtst). It is specifically in the arms that go to the wheels (dosent sound good hey). Should I take it to a panel beater in teh hope that they can repair it, or go straight to the wreckers to replace the rusted components. I have only had the car for a year and this is quite depressing as I thought that it was in quite good condition

+1 on the going to see a mechanic option. You are talking about an engine that could cost upwards of $6k to rebuild.

I went down to Northern Beaches Performance for a service and checkup today. I met Trent, one of the mechanics and Satanic down there at 6pm after work. The guys were very professional and let me hang around while they worked on my car. I would recommend giving NBP a look before heading out to Western Sydney for any work. I personally found the fact that they were prepared to work out side of business hours was great, as I want to be involved with the work on my car, not just drop off and pick up. Satanic can get just about any custom part (including CF) and genuine bodykits from Japan (saving now!!!) Anyway, just thought I would give these guys a plug for standing out and doing things differently. PM Satanic or check out www.northernbeachesperformance.com for more info.

The Next Ecu To Dominate The Sau Community?
Chris_R33GTSt replied to pear's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Haha, ill bet I would have to sell my soul to buy that Autronic system. From their site, the auto tune looks to be more targeted at a tuner. I dont know anything about Autronics and dont know anyone else who does. Is there anyone in Sydney who sells or tunes Autronic ECU's? *Edit* That you would recommend! Other than that I guess Ill go a GTR PFC. I would rather spend money and have an economical reliable car than make craploads of power and get 200km to a tank. -
The Next Ecu To Dominate The Sau Community?
Chris_R33GTSt replied to pear's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Paul, I would be very keen to see how the R33 GTR PFC works out. At the moment, the self tuning Autronic, that can completely self tune with a WB02 sensor is looking mighty fine, even if it is a bit pricey! If I ran the GTR PFC, would I be able to run dual AFMs into a single turbo? If the GTR PFC can be done, I would definitely go down that path... Let me know if you want a test subject -
Swapped Blitz Pod For Factory Airbox
Chris_R33GTSt replied to Chris_R33GTSt's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I really like it because to be honest, I was getting over having a vacuum cleaner under my bonnet. It is stealth, and feels much smoother/responsive. -
Swapped Blitz Pod For Factory Airbox
Chris_R33GTSt replied to Chris_R33GTSt's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I have heard that the only issue with the stock airbox is that the rubber piping can suck in if you use the OEM airfilter. With a K&N panel filter and maybe SS piping before the turbo it would be fine. There are heaps of members here running 300+ Rwkw cars with factory airboxes. The way I see it is unless you have a decent CAI setup, you are going to be sucking hot air from under your bonnet. I see a slight restriction as being much better than sucking air in that may be 20'c+ above ambient temperature. -
Swapped Blitz Pod For Factory Airbox
Chris_R33GTSt replied to Chris_R33GTSt's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
It was an alloy mesh Blitz POD and was responsible for a 75% decline in stray cats around where I live. I am very happy that my car is now more stealth, doesnt suck all of the hot air from under the bonnet and possibly filters dirt from the air before passing through my engine. I am investigating going with a NOS fogger setup or water methanol injection with an R34 or ARC SMIC rather than going with a FMIC, but if I do, I will have custom piping made up so that I can still use the Airbox. For all the hype I heard about POD filters, the only advantage it gave me was in picking up car slu*s. It made the engine run rough when hot, didnt filter air very well and was generally SHIT. If you have just bought a Skyline DO NOT PUT A POD FILTER ON WITH YOUR CATBACK EXHAUST AND BLEED VALVE.
