Two nights ago my car was defected as the park lights don't work amongst other things. They haven't worked ever since i got the car a year ago. There is evidence of a previous prang becoz the front left guard paint is slightly different to the rest of the car. It a 1997 r33 n/a. Fuse? Any help would be greatly appreciated..

is it just me or have the last few commo's all had to been recalled? my friend has a vy and it had something wrong with the airbags and the ve has issues with pipes rubbing and bursting into flames. why dont they just bring out a 454 holden?

my car atereo has just stopped recently both amps no longer turn on but the deck is still working and all the fuses seem to be okay, not sure whats wrong with them but there is a thread posted about it in the car audio section. im still trying to figure out what is wrong with it. ANYWAY a few months ago i got my car back from the mechanic and the tacho was going crazy even when i hadent started the car, and now after changing over the whole instrument cluster it WAS fine for about amonth or so but now the speedo isnt working at all!!?? clearly there is something wrong with my cars electronics, i dont know whats going on but something is up, anyone got any ideas? thanks

to be honest i have no idea when it comes to electronics, i have paid alot for all this shit to be installed into my car and im not confident enough to start f**king around with all the goodies, i would probly end up frying myself. i know basic electronics but nothing too crash hot i was thinking, because both amps arnt working it would have to be a power problem wouldnt it? grounding or something like that

yeah there is a big ass fuse between the battery and the amps, it is fine i have a double din pioneer deck so the face doesnt come off dont spose anyone would know the type of fuse it would take as i cant find the manual for it, and cbf driving around with my dash all over the place trying to buy the friggin thing, from memory its was a red blade fuse smaller then the ones that are in the car fusebox?

after spending thousands on my car stereo i was driving around yesturday with it up loud (35/40) and it just turned off. i though it might have been one of the amps over heating but if that was the case then the sub should of still been going? im hopings its the fuse at the back of my head deck? both amps (soundstream 4 channel and pioneer mono) are not turning on at all!?? head deck is turning on playing cd's ect but no sound is comming through anywhere? i have checked the fuses on the car (electric 1 and 2 and car audio). any help would be great thanks edit, i posted it here because the car audio section doesnt get as many readers

also another thing that could be related (no idea i dont know anything about car electronics) is my front left door speaker isnt working? i have pioneer splits hooked up to an amp. im hoping its just a loose wire or something.

got coil packs changed over from a mechanic, got the car back and the tacho is going crazy! mechanic says it is the instrument cluster/needs to be changed over with a new set (i have another set so it doesnt worry me) but i just wanted to know wtf it could be? even when the car is just on but not started it goes past redline all the way it can go and back again, its like there is some kind of electric current making it go crazy? it clearly doesnt work at all and its jumping all over the place, thank god i drive an auto. any help would be great thanks!

nunawading engine clinic to make thing even worse my car now has a f**ked coil pack (it didnt when i bought it in) so its running like absolute shit (worse then when i took it in for the service!!!) it is jittering at idle and power is struggling at low revs, after paying him $1200 he has made me wait a week to take it back and get it fixed. the last thing i want to do is drive from tullamarine (work) to nunawdaing after a hard days work STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE!!!@@

i know its an import and that shit costs extra but i just wasnt expecting such a high cost, and from what most of you have said i have been taken for a ride. oh well these things happen, about the brakes, i dont need the best brake pads in the world, afterall it is only an auto non turbo and i dont drive it very hard anyway (1 point left) il get them done some time in the near future. the reason why it took so long is because he had it over the weekend from late friday arvo(the only time i dont work) he also gave me a car to use on monday and today so i could get to work. CAN ANYONE RECOMMEND A PLACE IN MELBOURNE THAT I SHOULD GO TO? i dont care what side of melbourne it is on.

aparently he has put in platinum spark plugs? the guy said he wanted to put the water pump in because its hard to get too and he might as well seing that hes changing the timing shit. im getting my car back tomorrow $1150 later, he wanted almost another $400 to do just the back brakes!!@@!!@? i think this guy is on crack. il go to brakes plus or something. im sure it will be cheaper.
