I found that the exhaust system on my car... it has invidia or something on the tip but Bee*R all underneath it on the mufflers (same co??) .. is quiet enough for the DB stationary test but seems to get significantly louder over 4,000.... Its heavy, has two normal style mufflers, I have installed a metal cat but it doesn't restrict flow..... oh and its 3.5 turbo back... Although the custom dump/front pipe has made it slightly louder again.... so Im prolly going to have to get retested just to check it still passes for the eng cert.... And my engine, manifolds etc are far from stock.... However the zeddles is as loud a mofo with the kakimoto exhaust but never ever gets pulled over... imported under the 15 year rule so has an engineering cert lodged against the rego.... guessing this might be the reason??? That or they have absolutely NFI what it is and just don't bother!!! btw the test is conducted at 3/4 throttle of your designated redline for your vehicle.... ie where the redline starts on the standard dash.... they call it ESMP or engine speed at max power... so work that out and aim for something thats quiet around that rev range.... or shove a crap load of steel wool in the rear muffler... lol

Shannons WILL do under 25's if you have a clean driving record... Ie no license suspensions... But Im assuming if you have just bought your first import and have held your license for only 6 months then you may still get knocked back! Not sure if you have one or two minor speeding/traffic offences though.. guessing it would depend over what time period. I used to use Young and Cool back when I had my S13 and was only 19... we are talking 10-11 years ago now... back when there wasn't many around... think I was paying $1200 with them back then, although I had held full comp insurance since I was 16 (own car for L's, parents didnt trust me with theirs ) Not so sure what they are like now though.... hmmm might have to try the 18's out... I still have one set of 16's (new) but they are old skool street drags (came on the rims) ..... might as well use them seeing as there won't be anymore for a while...

I have a 350Z drift car... bought it and have used it once!! Bought it on sale for $200.... will sell for $150ish... il get a pic up in a minute... Still have the box, manuals etc... just might need a rapid charger as the one supplied takes forever!

il have the stock one in a week or so... just waiting on the new one to arrive from good ol USA.... Il Pm to see if you still need one when it arrives

mine was close to 12 months off the rd..... with a week or two here and there... had to buy the 200zr to run around in as I was killing the integra I was borrowing !! lol First 3 months were bad.... rest was ok.... the last week absolutely killed me as the engine was built/finished & sitting NEXT to the engine bay in the garage... !

I have unwired... can be very patchy and im near EC... traffic, wind affects the speed etc.... But you can buy the modem ($200) and used prepaid topup vouchers if its a temporary thing???
