  1. ok, first post updated as of 6.6.08.... All irrelevant posts of mine have been deleted to clean the thread (ie sold items) Cheers Anna
  2. oh hai!! spotted the same and sammeh hope it wasn't qantas.... he just started a new job in Sydney this week ....
  3. hah, that sounds like evil_weevils problem.... Still hasn't solved it!! Be interested to see if you find the culprit!!
  4. Im running the .63 rear version, although I have poncams but the rest is the same (Q45 etc) ... havent had the final tune yet but 306rwkw on 16 psi atm (quick tune after engine was run in)... 25psi roughly being the end target... My tuner reckons the rear will max out around the 340ish mark.. Il know by the weekend He was impressed at the response though, and said it wouldn't be worth the extra kw at the top end to sacrifice the response I currently have. Although I do have the .82 rear on standby...
  5. I have a hks twin in my 200zr... yup definitely takes skill.... daily driving is fine, just dont drag it! Could be cause mine was old though, but it didnt like it!! I have an ORC twin 709D in my 33... love it! Clutch pedal is just like standard... drives easy and is good for track or drag... highly recommend.. and one of the quietest twins I have had! Wouldn't recommend slipping a twin too often though, will wear out alot quicker...
  6. give him a break... he doesn't own a line anyhoo... poor guy is driving zeddles these days... although I have spied his head being worked on atm Sooooo Chris, back on topic.... how much more fuel are you going through seeing you are prolly spooling your turbo all the time atm!!! hehehe I chewed through the first 2 tanks so fast just cause I wanted to hear the "whistle" all the time
  7. so you split them in half? i dont think you can get the seals from nissan. most calipers like that are sealed from factory, but you cold seal them up with a propper an-aeroobic sealant like locktite 215 etc etc. :dave here:
  8. it is indeed real.... although if I hadn't of seen it in real life I would of sworn he did some magic with the photo Pm replied also Anna...
  9. ah okies.... from that angle it looked identical to an exforce one.... Still HPC it imo.... being stainless it still wont like the exhaust wrap..... Yup... round the $1000 dollar mark these days... they weren't 12 months ago when I got mine though *grumbles* Although good point... should have a comparible warranty... Anyhoooo hurry up and get it in the car already
  10. Post pics by opening a reply screen (not fast reply) and using the attachments window at the bottom. Just browse and add once uploaded by using the drop down menu... Or if hosted, just use the "insert link" button.
  11. Yeah just bend em, DONT try and bend em back though!! They will snap... bit like copper hot water pipes etc... it hardens as soon as you move it.. Lol re the balls... I didn't really think of the ramifications if it farked up... just all guns blazing and yeah.. happy ending! thank god!!
  12. I aint going anywhere near there then!! Unfortunately they were all working (including Steveo's) and could make an escape before I could make some money out of em ...
  13. Spotted a used car lot full of skylines........... It was on our front lawn!! Should of put for sale signs on the lot of em !!
  14. Yup sure does.... just a little gentle persuasion .... I refused to lose the air con seeing as my car is black. I bent them the first time round (majority of it) as my old tuner didnt want to be held responsible if it stopped working !! lol!! Dave bent them a little more once the new engine was in.... Only bent to keep them away from the manifold a bit more... its all a bit of a tight fit otherwise... P.s it didn't work at first as we forgot to plug the compressor clutch back in!! whoops!!
  15. +1 That water feed looks way to far out Might still work... be interesting to see the final result once its in. My guess is it will be tight if it does fit... Is that an xforce manifold?? I have heard that they crack fairly easily from people that have run them.... might pay to HPC it now while its still out of the car .... Wrapping wont help unfortunately... I have seen one die after 2 months. He HPC'd (black same as mine) the next one (ebay jobby) and it lasted over 2 years on a 400+rwkw GTR otherwise... looking good... how long till its going in??
  16. Sorry to hear... but at least there isn't any panel damage.... SSS should have most parts second hand that you will need... just work out what you need and give em a call... That's where Cass got his stuff from... and if you can have someone to install it for you then you will save a heap of $$ too
  17. They are one of each, but are the same thing. Only difference is the 33 bell housing is more strengthened than a 32 one. Both are push type, both suit a 32 GTR... Pm offer, these boxes are Daves not mine so it isn't my call Yes, there is still 80% left

    I'm Back

doh... heard the news.... sux0rs... but could be worse.... can also race at wsid if you have a spare copy of your license mid 20's huh.... *goes looking at bank statement* *realise's no way in hell without a loan* *raids house fund* Keep the car, get a Cams license and go to every open day all year... I'm sure there are peeps willing to drive it to the track for you I'd offer but im already on GTR driving duties to the track.... unless your gearbox is nicer than that farking ppg and I could be persuaded !! Hehe
  19. ^^ fanks... Yeah it was only my oil drain that hardened, rest were ok... should be fine as long as it not resting on the manifold or sitting real close
  20. http://www.r30.co.jp/goods.html sell the original decals
  21. If you still need a sample, Pm me ... any excuse for a drive.. lol New pics taken by sl!m on the weekend..... can see less but I just love the photo!! lol
  22. +1 My manifold is HPC'd in black and the lines were shielded and the GCG lines still hardened. My oil drain is routed away from the manifold but yet it didnt help (there was also a heatshield around the turbo at that time) Dave replaced the lines (custom speedflow line) when he built the the engine and all the silver tape in the engine bay is the same heatsheild tape as the v8's run....no problems this time round.... Alot more expensive but a perfect fit .....
  23. I have the part number somewhere on a bag in the garage... Or PM the details and Il run it through Nissan fast for you
  24. This is a turbo we found at SSS when picking up some other stuff..... sooooooooo cute Its an IHI RHB 31 think its off a cuppucino.... so small.... tiny exhaust housing which you can spool up just blowing through it!! lol Would still be too big though!!
  25. swaps for a lil gtst perhaps Looking good!! Extremely jealous!! Congrats to all involved, you are the only person I know to pull down a completley new crate motor p.s Sif epic.... thread is only a day old!! hehehe Thought I'd beat steveo to that!!
