I have a built SR20.. and yes there was a 25 but i sold it to cover costs in other areas of finishing of teh 33. In hind sight I prolly should of sold the sr20.... but meh.

Awwwww thanks guys.... Bout to start stripping it down... unfortunately it sounds like its spun a big end.. At least it will be rebuilt by the time the rest of the car gets back from the panel shop... and I didn't have to rush getting my engineers report finished today! After I take the seized the turbo off the zed ready to pop chris's spare 25 stocko on tomoz (fanks darling) anyhoo... Ed... hell no ... il bring a recording of it with me... stalled 50% of the time getting it home last night... still got oil pressure though... haha. p.s ... definitely an internal sound and still makes boost! p.p.s... RB26 is still an option but in another car ... il be rebuilding this and selling it.... so all u vultures trying to part out my car (greg) you will just have to buy the whole thing!

Guess its one of the virtues of being older... my insurance is cheap as ... wouldnt leave home without it. I guess its a personal call... if your insurance is say $4K per year and your car is only insured for $10k then perhaps I can see the point (providing you own the car outright) ... still... 3rd party fire & theft or at least 3rd party should be mandatory. Nothing worse than being hit by an unisured driver. For the sake of a few hundred dollars a year its peace of mind......

Insurance wouldn't be valid on an import without an approved alarm and immobiliser anyways... its one of the conditions.. well at least to 99% of insurers .. there may be an odd one out there though?? btw congrats on getting the car back... insurance should of been the first call made once you found it.

Its comes into positive pressure @ 3000rpm that I knows ! ... il post the dyno sheet up on friday once the complete tune is done... Before it shat itself (ecu) it used to be on full boost by just before 4000rpm from memory.....

Go the GT35R... love mine... I have the external gated version with 0.63 rear.. my cat is melted atm (flow issues..lol) and being fixed on Friday with a retune - currently has 270rwkw on 15-16 psi (plenty to go) .... compared to the 263rwkw I had with the slide hi-flow the power delivery is completely different... you wont regret it.. . Its available in the IW version ... or if you want to retain the low mount setup GT30R or HKS equivalent perhaps.. Was heading out Wednesday to WSID to see the difference... but I think it will keep raining
