Silly question but the batteries tend to die instantly in my M80... have you tried replacing them? Even though there will still be the LED flashing on the remote, there isn't enough power to transmit the signal.... All your problems you described also happen when the remote batteries need replacing, hence why I always have a spare battery on me!

I have the same alarm.... although when that happens.. I just unlock it with the remote.... so unarmed... shut the door properly and rearm! Sometimes I have buggered it up/confused it or something - so basically I had to unarm...shut the car down... turn the key to reds and turn off to reset the TT etc... and then lock again.. When you go to arm the car now... does it sound any warning signals such as a door is still open etc??? Possibly one of the sensors that determines that something is open are broken??? What happens if you shut the TT down straight away and try to arm? Does the alarm siren go off?? It should if it is still reading that a door is open and it isn't in the delayed TT mode

lol... I won the fastest 200ZR and the fastest car with no front end suspension.... ! Where the others were enjoying air over the rises I was slowing down so as not to nose dive the car into the tarmac! Suspension has been ordered for next time!

The way I know is these little globe things.... forget the technical name! lol Basically you remove the harness from the injector and plug it in to the globe and crank he engine over. If they are working it will light up.... my dad has a set of them, il find out the right name tomoz! Could be another way.... possibly someone else knows????

Do you have injector pulse? No injector pulse is a sign of a blown ecu... car will crank as per normal but wont fire. Edit - check with both ecus re injector pulse..... could be some wiring has melted also.... I had wires melt behind the wastegate (Map sensor wires) end result was a blown ecu... wiring replaced and a new ecu it was all good.

I have a 97 wrx and not sure if they changed the design at all.... buuuut... the CAT is in the exhaust dump from factory...ours had already been replaced... its literally pull dump off punch cat out and replace it in the exhaust where most cars have one! Unless they want to retain the factory setup then there is no need to replace the dump. Just go to any exhaust shop and have them place one in the normal spot.... And i was under the impression that they did not have ceramic turbines????? Il check my workshop manual/parts database and get back to you...... mine already had a VF34 hi-flow BB on it so I wouldn't have a clue what was stock on it! Although if they are saying that part of the turbo is in the exhaust then its a strong possibility.... EDIT - re fueling.... unless the cat it completely blocked which might cause boost issues - eg it melted and is blocking air flow... that one has me stumped.. maybe unrelated??? maybe the cause of turbo failure???

Sounds like my 200ZR, we popped the "SAU" stickers on both side mirrors at Texi on the weekend ... although wouldn't of been me today unless it drove itself with no slave cylinder! If it was yesterday then it would of been me! lol

Spotted SAM916 & vspec cruising off into the sunset tonight without me Spotted Qantas and Adoraa keeping me company! Also spotted numerous other white 33's around thornleigh... and Dave (T04GTR) helping me get the car home!

You mentioned you have fuel... do you have injector pulse??? I had similar issues when my ecu got fried through some wires melting in the engine bay..... after market computer though. But when it fried it took out all the interior lights only and most of the dash lights... warnings etc... Guessing they could of crossed some wires when starting it and ended up frying the ecu... do you have a spare ecu you can use to test it? And check the wiring from the ignition barrel back to the ecu first.....

Nope.... got all that... My sub amp fried when someone left a screwdriver under the seat that ended up bridging across the terminals... Damn thing bit me and melted the damn fuse I was replacing before I then saw the screwdriver.... lol Just got to get around to installing all the gear in the 200ZR now....
