I constantly get 400-450km per 40-45 litres - its always at 10L/100 ! I only use BP ultimate or if not near a BP, Caltex (Vortex 98). Although I do drive the freeway to & from work as well as alot of around town, cruises etc Although the car is currently getting the last mods installed so I am waiting to see what the outcome will be on my fuel economy

Doesn't shaving the fan blades end up affecting your water pump? Unless you get it done professionally and its rebalanced. My dad reckoned that it wears the water pump out quicker as the bearing isn't balanced and cavitates or something - could of been a scare tactic to stop me putting the FMIC in though... although he had the last laugh when I indeed replaced the water pump 30,000km later..... I still claim its a coincidence but saw an excuse to promptly mod further and put a forward facing plenum and a new clutch fan on ! Knowing dad though he was prolly right! But if he is wrong puhlease tell me!

Yeah GCG sells the water & oil line kits for the Garretts .... much easier... around $300 from memory.

lol.... I know... my exhaust is way under the 90db or whateva it is... I think it was the forward facing plenum that got me or the map sensor on the firewall which they didn't notice , or if they did they didn't mention it ! Quite surprised that I aint being sent to the RTA to clear the defects! Meh lesson learnt, engineered or not... stay out of Newcastle at night

Hmmmm Kasey & Wayne & Drew were the first ones to leave the carpark once they told us we might as well go up cause they were going to sit there all night until we moved! The bashtards got sent straight through up towards Holiday Inn... didn't even pull them in! Every single one of us got pulled in... no exceptions... although if I had of gone first I don't think the scenario would of changed.... even though from the outside Kaseys looks more modified than mine!

Nope Tafe is being a pain in the ass with financial year end coming up as well as new rules.. they are trying to work a way around it atm... I will post in this thread after dad goes back to work .. think school hols start next week.... or the week after... can never remember!
