  1. Interested in price for Front & Rear sway bars + all the bushes (nolethane Kit) .... my rear sub frame bushes are shagged so I might as well do the whole car! Whiteline factory is 5 mins from my house but they don't deal with the public!
  2. lol... give Chelsea a hug for me Spotted Chubbs grandpa spec in the driveway! also spotted Michael 1882 on the F3 this morning, berowra, and Asquith! Welcome to the "street party" . Ben works at the top of the street too!
  3. In for accomodation too! Bugger getting up that early to drive from the coast! Has anyone put their hand up to organise it??? If not ........ Il volunteer.. not like I actually do any work during the day
  4. Had one for around 8 mths now.. love it! Doesn't boost spike... my Tuner reckons its the best EBC he has used. Holds boost flat all the way to red line. Best thing is the hand controller can be removed and therefore its "not adjustable" and can be engineered as far as I am aware (once its locked and passed emissions) - well my engineer said it can be done! Although I tried the auto learn feature when I first installed it... couldn't for the life of me get it learn the second stage... But I am blonde and female so therefore I have an excuse! The manual tune is much easier! The E-boost 2 is also good.. have that in our other car... easy to use and program - just too many red lights for me!
  5. Spotted Qantas last night following me from the workshop Spotted myself driving my line after 3 weeks of deprivation
  6. How many do the cabins sleep? Or how many can we cram in is what I am asking
  7. Hey... I wasn't having a go at you! I understand where you are coming from! The search engine can be finnicky with what words you use! It was the way others replied to a post. Anyways if you are after an airbox... check this out... I got one on my car and it is not difficult to modify if you have different intake pipe .. .. I just shaved mine out a little.. The only thing is its cut to suit the small charcoal canisters and not the large ones I have seen on some lines! http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...p;rd=1&rd=1
  8. Now sitting at 262.3 rwkw on 16psi.. We made 279rwkw on 18 psi but it the highflow was being maxed... dropped it back to 16psi to be a bit nicer the the turbo Added the Adaptronic, injectors, fpr, plenum (although awaiting another ), cam gear + fuel pump! Tuned to run really rich due to the plenum leaning out no3 with the airflow. New greddy plenum and Garrett to be installed in two weeks.. will update then when the afrs are a little more friendly to my fuel economy!
  9. Bout time... Why I don't agree with all the threads being shut.. you can't shut one and not the others. That would be unfair and create the problem in the other threads resulting in all this crap again. I am not sorry that I pulled up on that comment today. I didn't do it in a negative way, and quoted that at the beginning. I was just plain sick of all the crap between the great divide shall we say! If the suspension/cancellation solves all this backstabbing, bitching etc.. then fkn amen. I am sick of feeling like we are all back in Yr 7!
  10. Anything that changes emissions (FMIC, turbo back exhaust, ECU, turbo etc ) has to pass the emissions test and be engineered as it was passed. Only if you have a catback exhaust with no FMIC can you just use the DB test to engineer the exhaust. All exhausts have to do the DB test to be engineered. Can you tell I have extensively looked into this......lol! So if you detune your car to pass emissions due to aftermarket ECU... get a pass.. get it engineered... then change the tune.. its not valid. Once they stick the gas analyser up the exhaust you are going to get raped over the coals. Also if its something with a controller.. the tune/ecu... boost, etc it needs to be locked and the controller removed from the cabin in order to meet the engineers certificate. Although not sure how often that kind of stuff gets picked on??? To engineer coilovers.. the engineer must set the coilovers to the minimum height (100mm @ lowest point) and then destroy all the thread underneath so as you can't lower it once its been passed and recorded on the certificate. FMIC still need to be passed (ie installed when test was done and not after) EPA but also the REO can't be cut, nor the hole in the guard be below the structual seam. I never thought that they checked this until a friend got pulled over the other day and they actually got on the ground and looked under the front bar to see if the REO had been cut in any way! Pods... as long as its enclosed completely they are ok... although Moanie's post is a lil worrying! I asked the RTA directly at the inspection station as well as my engineer and was given the ok????? Unless the rules have changed in the last 2 months? Mine is listed on my engineers certificate only because it was the only thing not on there they might have tried to pick on!
  11. *schlaps Anthony* Only if it was previously defected and remains uncleared! Although I'd be getting that puppy engineered. You have the emissions pass which is all you need to engineer the turbo, exhaust, FMIC. Thats the hard part done! ... they can still defect you as it is not engineered and cause you the hassle of clearing it all up. Everytime they go over Lucas's sunny they try and get anything thats not on the certificate! Although pretty much the rocks stuck in the tyre tread are engineered on that thing... its a losing battle everytime!
  12. Nope.. if its completely enclosed.. its legal. Doesn't need to be engineered.
  13. lol.... Check out smoky's post on pg1 (no 17). If its cleared you won't.. if its a previous defect which remains uncleared then you will be fined with points.
  14. And I prolly shouldn't have pointed it all out and caused a scene *move along... nothing to see here peeps*
  15. agreed. Which is why I posted. Its beyond a joke.
  16. Moanie, I didn't write that post with any malice/ridicule intended as clearly stated in the first line. I was simply stating the double standards that seem to be appearing lately. I don't want to be caught up in all the political/personal vendetta crap going on within the NSW club and some of its members. My main point was why now... why this post... hundreds of others have written the exact same phrase without the reply that Liz posted? Herself included... its kinda obvious that people are trying to stir the pot.
  17. Only way you can get defected and receive points is if you have previously been given a defect notice and are caught driving after the time alloted to fix the defect without it being fixed. If its getting defected for the first time, no points - well unless its one of the 3 listed below. There are 3 which can receive points straight away - defective seats, steering, & seatbelts.... all with good cause too! I did hear a rumour regarding, getting defected, getting it cleared, then getting caught for the same defect within a certain period of time might attract demerit points... although its not stated on the RTA website and is just a rumour.... its all these "rumours" that cause confusion!
  18. lol..... No cat fights... just confused with the double standards.............. Although mud is better than jelly..... chocolate is even better!
  19. Not being a bish or trying to start anything Liz, but isn't that the pot calling the kettle black? I can recall many times you have done exactly the same thing. Everytime someone asks a question that has been asked may times they get the same "use the search button" off any number of different people - why is this time any different? The guy mentioned he searched SAU (not well as this was brought up less than a week ago)... doesn't look like he searched RTA site too well either... Corinne provided a link to answer his question. Soooo as far as I can see... she actually provided RTA rulings and not just hearsay. Smoky had the answer correct and Corinne showed the guy where to find the demerits on the RTA website to confirm Smoky's post. If she was being rude there would be no link.... just a "use the search function". Just my 2 cents.
  20. Alright dad just emailed me to say the rep emailed the prices to his home email as opposed to TAFES (internet sheriff & all) Will post em up in the morning.
  21. Agreed.... Although.. do you have the will power to say enough is enough and I am happy with the car? I know I don't
  22. Alright... Corinne.. you twisted my arm. Form completed and payment via direct deposit made today.
  23. Queens B'day would be good practice but its also my B'day :sorcerer: .... don't plan on being quite sober enough! I'd be in for the accomodation in the cabins at the track otherwise il prolly find something in town.
  24. Make that 3..! Been years since I have been on the track... and that was in my S13! Damn cancellations on EC days means il be heading out with no practice in the line!
  25. paid and email sent ..... can't wait!
