  1. I would ask the RTA when the situation occurs. My friend lost his P plates in court also...similar situation. He wasn't required to return to L's or pass the driving test etc or anything but was required to lodge an exemption request for his two skylines. He is now able to only drive his own cars (R31 & R32) which were given immediate exemption, but he is no longer able to drive mine for example. Its quite possibly there is different rulings depending on the reason you lose your license in court. i.e DUI and speeding result in different processes.
  2. Not sure... il get the name of where TAFE (well the teachers ordering it ...lol) and we can take it from there... On a brighter note, dad assures me he will get the info this afternoon or tomorrow morning. Il post it up on Monday as I am generally never on SAU over the weekends.
  3. My whore mentor and favourite coastie *shhhh don't tell the others! *

  4. Did you try suncorp as mentioned on the first page? We have our 33 + the wrx through them.. insure all mods. I directed a friend there the other day and I swear they do 21 and older... (he is 19/20) .......... 131155.

Good luck getting Tinks outta of the front seat No worries... thought Jase would be able to fix it! Nope couple of little issues arose when it was time to tune... on track now.. possibly tonight more likely tomorrow it will be ready. Unfortunately I can't ge the front bar back til Saturday morning so I still can't drive it anyways! Although if the car is ready I am hoping the bar will be done by 5pm Friday too!

    Pizza!

Il bring my spare one along... although at this rate looks like il be doing this cruise in teh wrx rather than my line
  7. Hey guys n gals, Just wondering if anyone can tell me if these will fit? My car is at the tuners and I need to get back to the guy asap... they are brand new and a good price just unsure if they will fit! Dimensions are: Width (at widest point top shoulder) 590 Height 850 Length (front to back) 620 I did a search and came up with nothing! I also emailed one of the business traders that sells Cobra seats but I haven't received a response as yet! Cheers
  8. Spotted Drew (lanky71) on teh F3 this morning
  9. response is coming... just waiting for dad to pull his finger out and get me the prices I have been harassing him every day... usually takes a week with this method to get what I asked
  10. Quite a few coasties will be heading there... closer to the time we will organise a meetup point for everyone from around the area
  11. Soooo true.... although around the coast its generally riced up lancers/excels/bogandores that are the red light racers
  12. Aaaaarghh.. I hate Sydney and generally NSW drivers in general. I drive the F3 everyday and the amount of idiots I see tailgating, sitting in the right hand lane doing 30km/h under the limit with 2 free lanes to the left of them, cutting off trucks to get that one spot in front of everyone, speeding up whe you are overtaking cause they are driving slowly, etc etc etc Best one by far is the damn P platers that pass me at about 140km/h I am guessing..... then realise that there is a speed trap up/traffic jam up ahead and cut me off sending me mm's from the rock wall when driving the line or the wrx I always get the wankers that just have to overtake you cause you drive a import or a turbo etc..... doesn't matter if there is room or not to overtake.. they do it at all costs
  13. R33 gtst - 28 - agreed value & all mods declared - oh yeah... clean driving history VIGIL $850 per year - $500 excess SUNCORP $890 per year - $500 excess + $800 modification excess Suncorp are cheap (have pay by the month) I have noticed except for the excess.... especially on our other car (WRX) 18 & driving a turbo import equals premiums around $2-$3K or greater IMO - although I had a S13 silvia turbo when I was 18 and it was insured through Young & Cool for around $1400 per year from memory... could of been less
  14. Noooooooo! *takes a deep breath* Sold to a coastie?
  15. No worries... will do
  16. I use the 5W40 Motul 8100 I can check out prices on that too if you like??? Il send dad an email and hopefully get some prices for you tomoz Whenever I order .. I get 20L for me & 20L for dad . I leave the drum @ TAFE and just get dad to refill my 5L bottle evertime I do a change....
  17. R33GTST - I average 500kms per 45-50L - 70%-80% is freeway driving though .....
  18. hmmm interested... I live up that way I will give you a buzz tonight
  19. They come at a 1.1 gap (not sure about 0.8) ... platinums can be bought in either 1.1 or 0.8 ..... I run at 0.8 (heatrange 6) on brand new splitfires and high boost just to ensure the spark doesn't arc out. Do a search there is plenty of threads on this topic ... btw nissan recommends 1.1 & heatrange 5 for a stock vehicle (guessing that is with coils with no issues either)
  20. I order in 20L drums of Motul - 5L per oil change (oil cooler) every 5,000km..... I travel around 1000km per week ... so every 5 weeks I am changing the damn oil! Can't remember how much.. dad orders it in through TAFE for me.. il find out how much - think its around $100 with the trade/TAFE discount
  21. Damn I have to go to court as a witness... sopeana'd (spelling) Don't think I can get out of that one!
  22. No worries.. il check it out... I haven't gone to lunch yet so I can come over the rd with ya
  23. Linky me up to this driftland day puhlease.. and L2S... need some practice in my boat before Wakefield!
  24. No worries... il just go and plant another money tree... should be ready for picking in 5 days
