This looks like its for a series 2... is that right? If series 1 I would be interested ! -
*Dave here* you should check the end float on the turbos asap. any noise is bad. but if you catch it now you might be able to save your motor. you have to pull off the suction pipes to see. and hopefully they are steel wheel ones.. lol.

"adaptronic" Engine Management Systems ?
msnismo replied to discopotato03's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I used to run of these... its not aimed at just 4 cylinders... my vehicle was the car Andy tested the plug and play board on for the 33's..... Never a drama, had a problem with the installation which ended up frying the ecu (unshielded wiring behind the gate melted). Since it was a dealer that did it a new ecu was available that very afternoon... just called said what had a happened.. went and got the new one and handed over the dead one. Unfortunately as this was a couple of years ago it wasn't quite up to speed in terms of map points....the new computer due for release looks the goods though Highly underated... my old ecu is now powering a 25/30 in an R31 quite happily .... -

Item: GT35R , 6boost Manifold, custom dump, Turbosmart 38mm Hi-Temp ultragate Age: 10,000kms old on a freshly rebuilt motor (manifold was on old setup for about 2,000kms, rest on new motor only) Condition: Excellent - all in perfect condition. Price: $3200 plus delivery if required NOT NEGOTIABLE To Fit: (What car) RB20/RB25 or RB26 with slights mods to manifold ( can be done prior to sending for a small fee - $100) Location: Sydney Contact: PM or post here Comments: Setup made 345.2 rwkw on 21psi with all pollution gear still on car ... even had a cat and only a 3" exhaust. This setup on my rebuilt RB25 made full boost by 3,800rpm... with power curve still continuing up at my 8,000rpm rev limiter. Turbo has been machined by Precision Turbochargers with surge hole compressor cover, it has a 0.63 rear exhaust housing but retains the 700hp cartridge. (cost was $1950 with compressor cover machining) 6boost exhaust manifold has been HPC coated in hi-temp black by Pro-Coat... all 6boost manifolds have a life time warranty against any defects ..ie... cracking etc (cost was $1500 including HPC) Turbosmart 38mm hi-temp ultragate to suit above... (plumbed in to dump pipe, no screamer can be engineered) (cost was $470) Dump pipe - 3" custom dump to suit (stainless steel)... this clears all my air con etc in my 33 Gtst. O2 sensor is located at the top and bolts to standard cat position.... (cost was $850) Reason for sale??? Bigger turbo landed in my lap NOT WILLING TO SEPERATE AT THIS POINT, NOT NEGOTIABLE ON PRICE. NO TIMEWASTERS. Setup will be in car until sold or new manifold arrives (2-3 weeks)... Serious buyers wishing to see running in car may do so for the next 2-3 weeks... Kit will be removed once buyer leaves a deposit/pays in full if this occurs before my new manifold arrives. I have a spare car so no dramas having the 33 off the rd for a week or two. Pics will be up a bit later tonight.

o i see. yes, you drill out the tiny little 2mm holes in the sump, (where the driveshaft tube runs over) to 8mm or as big as you can go. also a oil return is a must, even standard pumps will still fill the rockers up. ideally a -12 (16mm) or bigger is best for the oil return from the head. just making it as compact as you can is the hard bit given the clearance at the rear of the head. dave here.
