  1. haha, so true. Holding on by finger tips cuts down the pain a little. I find the hottest place in my car is the door jambs, burning hot.
  2. That would be this guy: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ba...pan-m23930.html
  3. Only oil temp, stock gauge in my '34.
  4. Fourthed.
  5. All the undesirables. It's certainly a place I wouldn't be walking around by myself at night. My brother had a gun held to his back at Ringwood station when he was younger.
  6. 'twas me, getting my wheel alignment checked as I hadn't done it in the year since I got the car complianced. What were you driving?
  7. haha, the above post is so true. But it's not a bad area, but the scum are mainly concentrated around the station.
  8. Mine's about the same if I get stuck in traffic for a while with the air-con on in this heat. I couldn't work out what temp it was, then I realised half way between 70'C and 150'C is about 110'C, which is fine. It's not going to hurt anything. If you see your stock water temp gauge move from it's normal position - then worry. They stay in the normal spot between certain heat ranges, if it moves it outside of normal.
  9. Both are doing fine. Too scared to run the air-con in the Pulsar until I can properly monitor my temps (ie. when I get the Defi's installed) as there's so many cooling devices in my engine bay...and stuff all room for heat to escape. There's a massive truck sized FMIC, radiator, stock oil heat exchanger, air-con condenser and two transmission coolers all in the one spot (not the mention the bigger turbo sits close to my radiator)...and the engine was never designed to be in such a small bay in the first place. Poor car The Skyline is obviously running a bit hotter than normal, but perfectly normal temps. Plus I can run the air-con in it all day and not worry, it's a fairly stock car. It's nice to have a stockish daily to pot around in, air-con ftw.
  10. The seller needs to write a quick letter and sign it saying that they are selling such and such a car (ie. VIN and engine number) unregistered to such and such a person. Otherwise Vicroads will query it when it's time to be re-registered. Same goes for an engine, you'll need proof of ownership (ie. workshop/importer receipt or a letter from the previous owner) to change engine numbers over with Vicroads.
  11. That's what I was worried about I haven't attacked mine again yet.
  12. Ah nice, my boss has one. Was waiting a lot longer than 6 months for his though and they stuffed up with some of the options he ordered.
  13. I'm the girl in the pic, unless Peter is a girl The guy is my partner Tomi. Carwings is part of the navigation system. Also an emergency call for help thing. There's explanations in English on Youtube.
  14. I wouldn't either Some belated photos from the Nissan Ginza Gallery on Tuesday. We fail at taking photos. And to prove we were there haha Also took a trip to the Omori factory but were weren't allowed to see much. We made the mistake of asking how much the Nismo carbon seats optional for the GT-R were that they had on display...roughly AU$31,354.59 EACH. We laughed, as did the guys behind the counter.
  15. Very observant I sat in the Spec V today and pressed all the buttons. Pictures when I cbf haha Not worth the price, but the seats are awesome over the standard GTR. Like they're the best seats I've ever sat in. N/A® - when were you there? I would've been there about 2 or 3pm today.
  16. I bumped into something a little bit special in Ginza, Japan last night and grinned like a little school kid: http://www.themotorreport.com.au/13722/200...ails-confirmed/ Going back in a couple of days to get a close-up look
  17. You can keep your mad
  18. Neither my four door
  19. Hope you're okay after seeing that, make sure you speak about it to your friends and family. You might feel okay now but in the coming days it might start replaying in your head. Best wishes for recovery to the injured guys, even though it should never have happened it's not nice to hear of anyone hurt, especially so close to Christmas.
