I can think of worse, someone trying to convince you your car is something it isn't. The R34: "OMG, that's a GT-R." Me: "No, it's a four GT-T." "I know my Skylines." Me: "I can promise you it's not." "It has a GT-R engine though." Me: "No it doesn't." and so on and so forth. N15: "Is that one of those AWD Pulsars." Me: "No, it's front wheel drive." or "Is it turbo?" Me: "Do you think the front mount is there for looks?" Eventually I just give in and let them believe whatever makes them happy.

I've done a bit, they're not stone chips though. It's as though the plastic has been stressed somehow. Like miniature cracks all through it. Email replied to Damian.

I've sent Final Inspection an email to see what they say. As you can see, it's not a case of them just being oxidised - something has happened to the plastic to cause that sort of pitting effect. What shits me is that it's happened over a period of 7 months or so. Prior to that they were fine

But here's the photos I've been promising to get (I have higher res photos but I shrunk these down): Passenger Side: Driver's Side: And from the front: I think my use of PlastX has made them worse. As you can see, the passenger side head light is clearer but is pitted towards the top and has spots that are patchy on the face. The driver's side headlight is just terrible all over. Do you think they're too far gone?

What a ridiculous thing to say. Someone has died, have some respect. It has nothing to do with the car, it has everything to do with the driver who was driving drunk.
