  1. That would depend on your budget more than anything else. And if your car has a pearl paint it'll be harder to match.
  2. If you want DT Panels contact details PM me. Vu is the man for a reasonably priced (but good) job
  3. I've been going past it (slowly) for the last month and a half wondering wtf it was. Sound camera...hmmm...wonder how sensitive.
  4. I honestly think one headlight's lens is beyond saving, the plastic looks stressed. I'll try and get some pictures tomorrow to show you what I mean. So I guess the main point of my question is how much is a good pair of second hand headlights, or is the lens a replaceable item? Edit: had a look at your thread. All most my windows and badly etched by acid rain. I'll get some of the Meguiars Diamond cut polish you recommended. Thanks for the tip
  5. hehe, 25/37. Go the stock dirty whore
  6. Spotted yoooooooooooooooooooooooooou to
  7. That's terrible. But I guess it's a lesson for everyone to get their driver's license number, name and address before even giving them the keys for a second. I'll keep an eye out mate. Did you have insurance?
  8. I'm certain this would be a common issue, but I can't find the answers I'm looking for. Basically I imported my GT-T at the start of the year, the headlights looked almost perfect when it arrived. Gradually over the course of the year the headlights have gone cloudy and oxidised. I used plastic polish on them and it worked to a degree, but as soon as any car wash solution hits them again they turn to shite. The driver's side particularly up close looks like the plastic is stressed, something a polish isn't going to remove. My question is - how much would be reasonable to pay for second hand set? And is it common for the headlights on an R34 to do this? Or are the lens replaceable rather than buying the whole headlight? The headlights are HID, they weren't converted to halogens at compliance
  9. shhh you
  10. ^^^yes, but they wouldn't have been 'wtf looks' of the good variety I find my '34 gets lots of looks from Mr. General Public. Kind've those 'wtf it's a Skyline but it's got four doors' looks. Or a Commodore will see the hotplates and automatically assume I want to race them
  11. There's very few pics in the this blog: http://sokudostyle.wordpress.com/ These guys were there taking photos so they should have them up at some stage: http://www.hpheaven.com.au/
  12. I didn't take any, sorry.

  15. I've used Ice Radiators in Croydon and was happy with their work: http://www.icemanradiators.com.au/
  16. errr...you should be driving "the proper way" when you get your license, not just when you're going for it. Indicators are there for a reason, and head-checks are absolutely bloody crucial. Mirrors are deceiving.
  17. Had the car dyno'ed last night, pretty chuffed for a stock power figure (only mod is a full exhaust):
  18. I'm all for harder tests. You can't blame anxiety for failing a test, you will be put in situations in real world driving that will cause the same feelings and you need to react appropriately. Hell, I was throwing up with a migraine for 10 hours before my test.
  19. Hit the nail on the head.
  20. I'm sure it helps but I wasn't part of a CAMS affiliated club nor did I have a CAMS license at the time.
  21. awwww...thanks. Thinking about getting new headlights, mine have fogged up silly and I feel pov
  22. I have some (bad) photos http://s35.photobucket.com/albums/d159/llama_au/R35%20GTR/ Teaser:
  23. Yup. It's the first thing I asked
  24. I didn't take the photos, a friend did. He used nothing more than a regular torch from behind the camera
  25. They do offer track insurance, but not to our sorts of cars.
