  1. hmmm...fairy nuff. Headlights just looked like the ones I've seen on the non-turbo models. Must've been the light
  2. Aston Martin DB9 and some other strange looking Aston Martin with a hideous chrome mesh grille and air dam (don't have the faintest what it was), both going down the South Gippsland Fwy and the Mooruduc at separate times today.

    Car Brokers

Stateroads supposedly shit all over RACV for a thorough inspection: http://www.stateroads.com.au/
  4. 'R34J3T' silver R34 4-door, looked like it had chromies, driver was staring at my car as he went past, I was on Kimberley Drive in Chirnside Park waiting to turn onto Maroondah Hwy this arvo. I think it was non-turbo, got a quick glimpse of the headlights.
  5. Will go for a look, always do no matter how much it's gone downhill. Might enter next year if it's gotten any better.
  6. Nothing huge, no more than a grand or two of wrong stock.
  7. LAWL
  8. Thai Tables was good, went there for the first time the other night. It was quite busy.
  9. My inlaws own Ahaan Thai on Castella Street in Lilydale. And for Vietnamese I recommend Indochine on Carrington Road in Box Hill. Box Hill is the best suburb for food.
  10. Still waiting for the DIN gauge to arrive. On the Skyline front: 1000km's driving yesterday resulted in excellent condition stockies with tyres that have plenty of tread: Admittedly a lot of the cash adjustment I got for my rims went into the 95L of fuel it took to get to Wagga and back
  11. No longer required, swap being made tomorrow.

    Meets?

    mmmm...duckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
  13. Welcome to Melbourne mate. Most of it's already mentioned. NissanSilvia have regular meets if you were looking to attend a cruise: http://www.nissansilvia.com.au/forums/index.php?showforum=36 Or VicStreetScene, you'll get a taste of lots of rubbish Aussie cars, and some okay ones: http://www.vicstreetscene.com/forum/index.php?showforum=23 I'm not saying their cruises are any good though. The car's scene isn't as big as it used to be in Melbourne. And we don't have many retail places for car parts, or workshops you can just browse around.
  14. Was this at Knox?
  15. Edit: double post.
  16. Calder has the slipperiest start. You'll get buckets of wheelspin no matter what you. For me buckets of wheelspin goes with buckets of torque steer so watch out if you're in the lane next to me
  17. oops, I'm two days late. A belated Happy Birthday big Kev.
  18. Nope, actual lid PM replied Steve.
  19. Silver R34 sedan, no wing, on Stud Road at the Boronia Road lights about about 5:25pm. Also just before Rowville on Stud Road a silver R34 coupe with meshy rims, Asian driver, not long after.
  20. Unfortunately your mate will get nowhere chasing the workshop. Insurance for the car is the owner's responsibility, not the shops. They didn't breach their duty of care as it was behind gates, it's not like they just left it on the street. A workshop's insurance doesn't normally extend to the cars kept inside the grounds. Read about what happened to Primal Garage when they got broken into. Sorry to say.

    R34 Owners...

I am so poor right now. If you had R34 GT-T stockies we could've done some mega deal. R34 stockies + Recaro seats for me = Enkei rims + R34 seats for you
