I was talking about Thursday. Must have been at a different time because I went through there at 8pm and there was nothing except a drug bus in Ringwood.

Yeah, I was there from the start. At about 8:30 a cop car drove past. About 8:45 there were significantly more cars and a cop cars turns up, drives down and asks us what we're doing. We tell him we're having a meet then getting dinner, he seems fine with that and then goes and sits down the end of the carpark. Cop number two rocks up and joins him down the end of the carpark. Cop number 3 comes in then leaves. Everything seems fine, people keep rocking up but don't venture down the end where the cops are. As soon as a P Plater in an R32 rocks up and goes down the end and past them they both follow and when he parks they block him in. Pretty much they were just waiting for someone to drive past them that looked detectable, hence why it was just a stand-off between them and us, no way were we starting cars while they were waiting for us. It was nice to meet some new people and see some new cars, however I have to say it turned into a shit night. I normally have no problems with police and authority but what the police did was a massive waste of time and tax payer dollars. I hate being intimidated when I'm not doing anything wrong. I was angry, I just went home.

It wasn't a defect station and it wasn't outside a cop shop. It was a drug bus in Ringwood, I got waved through. Really? I went through there and there was nothing.

Interesting. I'm 23, I'm in a high risk suburb, don't have a garage, the R34 is daily use (the N15 listed as 2-3 day use), no CAMS license, etc. I guess being female with an almost spotless driving record helps. I'm also pretty active in the car scene so they knew my about N15 already and chased me for insurance. I guess neither of my cars are considered massive theft risks and I'm considered a low accident risk. Really great to deal with.
