  1. Of course it is. It doesn't matter if you run a 10 or a 19, it's still a bit of fun My Pulsar used to run 19's, it now runs 13's and is soon to run 12's. It's a challenge trying to break your last times.
  2. Might be interested in the Pulsar Anyone else heading down?
  3. I have two turbo cars and one N/A. I'll just ignore fuel costs for as long as I can. I'm fortunate I live at home.
  4. With up to 4 thefts reported each week, postcode 3136 is a high theft risk location. Tell me something I didn't know.
  5. 'V5PEC', R33 GTR on Springvale Road just outside of Springvale. I think it had a kit, only really saw the back.
  6. I won't stop driving.
  7. They're also not extremely picky about small faults and overlooked heaps of things on my car
  8. I also used Enkelman and Associates for my Pulsar, I needed an engineers to legally drive around with an SR20DET in the car. It was expensive, but they were extremely reasonable about the modifications.
  9. So that's where I went wrong
  10. Black R32 coupe on Kimberley Drive in Chirnside Park, staring at my car as I was waiting to turn into Chirnside Village. Hi if you're on here
  11. Just the stock 3 gauge pod on the dash in my R34, and a DIN 3-gauge holder in my Pulsar. 'sif have crap mounted on the dash. It's asking to be pulled over or your car broken into to steal them.
  12. Hi mate, that'd be me. What do you drive? I did see a white R33 going the other way.
  13. Woot, the R34 is booked in on Monday to have a single DIN CD/MP3 headunit installed and to piss off all the Jap stereo and navigation garbage which is useless here. I'll also remove the handsfree kit. A DIN pocket will be installed in the spare DIN slot. Then it's off next Saturday to have a full exterior clean, polish and wax and engine bay detail (steam clean and degrease) which should take most of the day. Should look 100% more respectable, then I'll post engine bay shots. It's not particularly cheap but it'll be worth it
  14. Sorry, technical way of asking for the bigger version
  15. Well thanks. I've only washed it once since it came of the boat, it hasn't had a polish or wax at all. Still, she scrubs up alright. Should come up immaculate with a full detail. I'll get that done in the next few weeks. I'm not really a fan of the colour, it's a bit yellow for my liking, but that's due to the colour of the pearl and light reacting to it. It looks yellow next to my Pulsar which I've purposely sprayed a blinding white with pearl. If I were ever to respray the car I'm not sure I'd keep the stock colour.
  16. Could I please have a high res version of this one? jremfrey (@) optusnet.com.au - obviously minus brackets and spaces Cheers.
  17. Lovely to meet you too
  18. They don't put a restrictor in the fuel tank any more. They mounted child restraints but that wouldn't have done anything. Paul SM - yeah, you're probably right. Today it was fine, just has it's moment. When I cbf I'll get it fixed.
  19. Good night, it was nice to meet everyone PS. I took Springvale Road back, got drug and alcohol tested and my license checked. The lady cop loved my car and was asking heaps of questions because she didn't know what it was. As I left I heard "how hot is her car" and just smiled. It's a nice change to see them interested rather than looking for a reason to defect
  20. The only thing I've changed in the past week is the battery. The car has a voltage stabiliser that the previous owner added, could a dodgy earth be causing it? It does sound like wiring to me. It does have a stereo (which is useless in Australia and I'm not using), I don't think there's been any work around the fuel tank. I've only had the car a week (imported and went through compliance.)
  21. Just bumping this thread as my R34 seems to be doing this. I'll drive along and literally watch the gauge drop to empty and the fuel light come on. Then I'll stop for a while and it'll go back to where it should be. It'll just randomly drop and climb. It seems to reset itself to the right point when you turn the car off and on. What could be causing that?
  22. I just lol at them. Like anyone with 'sexy', 'sxy', 'sxc', etc. in the number plate. They're obviously pretty self-absorbed.
  23. Mine has 117,000 and the timing belt changed, so the km's are entirely believable
  24. Sweet, I'll try and pop down to say hi.
