  1. Granted I haven't been to a JDMST meet for a couple of years but sounds good, long are the days of getting kicked of every carpark we used. Might pop along for a looksee.
  2. He's very old school and a tightarse with electricity though so his bills were never massive anyway.
  3. My Dad does. Uses far less than he puts back into the grid, so they are always paying him. Paid itself off very quickly.
  4. Nope, not this year
  5. We'd love to have you there Frank, there'll be plenty of people happy to show you around. Once you've done one you'll want to do more!
  6. Oh shit, I've just realised how dodgy that sounds
  7. I had exactly the same thoughts as you. I was tossing up between the 86/BRZ and the GTI. But fairly certain I'll go for an 86/BRZ later next year. An R34 GT-T or S15 crossed my mind but they're a bit old and the fuel consumption of the R34 would be too crap for a daily again.
  8. I hear you, mine took 6 months.
  9. That and cars to be brought in and complied can't have any structural damage to them. Don't waste your time.
  10. Nissan? I bought brand new tie rods for my R34 from Nissan.
  11. Negatory.
  12. It won't for the cold/flu part of it, antibiotics don't kill viruses. Two rounds of antibiotics haven't got rid of my sinus infection either
  13. That's...what she said.
  14. Put me down as a Long Wang Spotter
  15. Don't blame the sick people. I've been crook with the flu for two weeks and if I so much as dared to take a sick day (some days I've nearly collapsed at my desk) I'd be spoken to like I was doing the wrong thing and not setting a good example. But 9 days, good luck. Hope you've got a good immune system, this one is nasty.
  16. I did solid mounts all round. The revs determined which new part of the car rattled and at what volume. It also made bolts and screws undo themselves lol
  17. I'll rejoin next year when I have a car worthy of entering into DECAs again. It's okay, I won't get one then.
  18. Do you need to be an SAU member? Otherwise I'm in for Jacket 1 (in ladies sizing if they have it, don't want to be wearing a tent.)
  19. Age would help *budum tish* My Cube works out about $65 per month daily use cover for $20,000. They have quoted me a ridiculous premium for the 86/BRZ I want to insure next year. Currently quoting $1500 insured for $43,000. Really it should be around $1000 at my age with a rating one and other policies with them I would think. By the time I want to insure it I'll be 28/29. I want to stay with them if I can as they're good to deal with. I should be able to haggle them down, having friends who work for them is a bonus.
  20. lol, I'm slowly learning about bikes through Wasteland.
  21. I think I can.
  22. Haha, they are a bit of a joke. No doubt some rich fanboys will buy them. Massive overkill on such a light car.
