I've got Maxxis tyres on two of my cars and have been very happy with them. They're not budget tyre sort of cheapness though...

Poor car. I was hoping it wasn't one of the ones I see around every day but I can't recall one with a black bonnet.

That's the approach I took when two of my cars were vandalised. I went to the police station and reported who I believed had done it, the police officer offered to come around and talk to them but I said I'd do it instead. That way I had something in writing if it happened again. After talking to the kids nothing further happened. Whether the police officer said something without me knowing I'm not sure. They were known to police as the kids would throw wild parties maybe 3 times per week on average, all underage drinking, graffiting all the fences up and down my street and the school a couple of doors down, setting people's front yards on fire. They still live there but it's all quietened down in the last 6 months.

Their offer wasn't genuine. They used to me get insurance for them. I spent a couple of hours helping them, they spent time driving my car and then went and bought a much cheaper, dodgier example. Like I said, lesson learnt. I'm going to be a hardarse on the next enquiry. No favours. But yes, I want to move it on soon. It's doing me no favours paying 3 rego's and 3 comprehensive insurances

It would never have sold for '$500 cheaper' anyway, they were out to f*ck me over from the start. Lesson learned, no going out of the way to help anyone from now on. I'm too f*cking soft.
