You've answered your own question. The reason he's making you do it is that it's a waste of time and money, with the thought that you won't want to do it again (which you inevitably will if you put it back to the way it was.) Cars don't get VASS certificates when they enter the country, they get complianced. Entirely different scheme.

Spotted two black R34 2 doors yesterday. One at Reading Cinemas in Chirnside Park, bumpers really ratty and cable-tied, rear windscreen covered in JDM gimick stickers, LED tail lights, dildo shift knob, green P Plates. Second was a really tidy GT-T with awesome looking staggered offset matte black wheels, number plates 'NOGTR'. Sounded awesome. I was in the S15 you were staring at.

I'm not really asking $15K for it anymore. Most of the lowballing initially was around the $12K mark, f*ck that! I had a decent offer of $13,500 as is from an interstate buyer (so I would've kept remaining rego, custom plates and wouldn't have put new tyres on it or got a RWC.) I kick myself now for not taking that.
