  1. Tein's Basic Compact coilovers are more expensive, looked into them already. I don't know much about Tanabe, any good?
  2. That's just straight off Yahoo Japan. I should be able to get them cheaper. Still researching.
  3. Oh hello. It desperately needs a wash, going up for sale next week if you know anyone interested. Lightening struck directly above my car on North Road! And haha, thanks. What were you driving? Didn't notice any other imports around me.
  4. William, just be thankful you haven't got it yet. More time to get it sorted out. You will get it.
  5. The Cusco Vacanza's I'm looking at are around the $950 mark plus shipping from Japan. I'll do a bit of hunting and bargaining to see if I can get them cheaper. The Cusco Vacanza's and pretty much every other coilover I've looked at are designed for comfort rather than all out handling being that they're for a Cube.
  6. Yes I do. Shoot me your email address and I'll send you a copy of my 2009 itinerary (I didn't do so much in my 2010 trip.) Don't bother buying a Japan Rail Pass unless you're crossing Japan, you won't use it enough in Tokyo to make it worth it. Yeah, it's true. The only other carsy stuff we did in Tokyo outside of Autosalon was Toyota Mega Web and History Museum (the history museum is free and worth it to see some rare cars.) Super Autobacs Tokyo Bay, make sure you visit the upstairs bookshop for rare Japanese sales brochures, manuals, magazines, books and posters on nearly any car you can think of. Nismo Factory, don't bother, you can't really see anything and they have more merchandise on sale at Autosalon.
  7. Nah, been the last two years in a row. Can't afford to go again next year.
  8. As if you're going to rock up Ash.
  9. Where to start... Couriers Please for non-urgent local deliveries. Xpress, MTX & Jet for same-day/urgent local deliveries. TNT for same-day interstate, overnight, country VIC and small interstate road packages up to ~50Kg depending on where they're going. Niche Transport, WA Freightlines and NQX for larger road freight consignments 50Kg - 10tonne again depending on where they're going. TNT, DHL & various freight forwarders for overseas deliveries.
  10. Me, both nights. Will share room.
  11. Cubey Cubey McCubic will be leaving Sydney bound for Melbourne this week. Then all it needs is a RWC, registration inspection and she's on the road. Woohoo, feels like it's been so long but it would have been under 3 months since she was purchased. Next on the agenda is choosing coilovers. I'm currently doing a fair bit of research. There's so many brands available it's hard to make a decision however Cusco are looking the most likely choice due to the price. I only need something height adjustable, damper adjustment isn't necessary.
  12. You've still got another couple of weeks before I start aggressively advertising it (Carsales.) My Cube should be registered next week, I'll give it another week and at that point if there's minimal interest on forums I'll put it up on Carsales. You'd be welcome to inspect and test drive it next week.
  13. Just don't reply, simple. They use that same spiel every day and unfortunately they do suck the occasional person in.
  14. I use loads at work everyday but they're account only. e-go have got a reasonably good rep.
  15. Agreed. HP suck balls. Acer on the cheaper end of the scale, Asus are slightly more expensive. Both are great. I've had my $600 Acer laptop for nearly three years. I drop it all the time, throw it around and generally abuse the crap out of it. Still perfect.
  16. Trying not to talk for ~5 days is very difficult. I hate you laryngitis.
  17. Make me a reasonable offer on the tyres and I'll consider it.
  18. The headlight design is sort of like a mutated Micra.
  19. One day no doubt.
  20. How about 20 golf ball sized blisters from sunburn?
