  1. Stickered up race-looking charcoal R32 on the back of a trailer going down Bayswater Road at about 5:15pm tonight. Plates 'GOZILA' I think? I swear I've seen the exact same one going down there on a trailer before.
  2. If anyone is interested in reading a little bit of my story I did an interview with car blog Obsessive Compulsive Tuning Cars: Part 1: http://obsessivecompulsivetuningcars.com/2...ve-for-her-car/ Part 2 to follow.
  3. Shan - I see you 80fwkw and raise you 100
  4. I'm watching, not competing. I won't be competing in anything this year.
  5. I'm not sure exactly, I haven't had it on a weighbridge. They weigh 1095kg stock. I'd say mine would weigh maybe 1150kg now? Just guessing. Pretty good power to weight yeah Your MR2 should be reasonably nippy.
  6. Wheelspin in every gear except 5th. Yep, fun
  7. 183.3fwkw.
  8. I'm stereotyping. Might be a very accurate stereotype, but I'll stop there
  9. I think everyone knows the answer to that.
  10. 183.3fwkw. Not quite as much as I was expecting but we think a few things are restricting it a little (intake and exhaust), boost drops off to wastegate boost pretty early on. O2 sensor hasn't been sorted yet so it's been tuned without one again until that's sorted. The entire loom section for the O2 sensor has been re-wired so it'll at least work once we get it in. Also split a CV boot on the dyno, messy!
  11. Importing is good fun. What was funny is my car cost me $7200 in Japan, shipping, customs duties, compliance, rego, etc. came to more than that. It was still cheaper than buying locally at the time by at least $3-4k.
  12. If you like steak The City Grill Room Steakhouse (535 Little Lonsdale Street) will set you back $30-60 per main each but it's very worth it.
  13. Ouch. From what I remember that component of mine was about $3.5k
  14. You need an S15. Herrafrush.
  15. I'll seperate it for $250, I paid $350 for it. $270 delivered via courier.
  16. No, it's so right.
  17. Woot. Pulsar goes to Dr Drift on Saturday for a re-tune. Hoping for 200fwkw
  18. CES quote 46rwkw difference but in reality it wasn't quite that much: http://www.cesracing.com.au/products_4.htm
  19. Nope. Bare in mind that's with a CES turbo-back exhaust. Made roughly 30rwkw over when it was dyno'ed stock. It makes 250rwkw now with stock internals, GT2871R, Poncams, Pod, FMIC, Boost Controller, 6Boost Manifold, Exhaust.
  20. From memory my other half's Jap Spec made 165rwkw with just a pod and exhaust, a nice free-flowing exhaust makes the biggest difference.
  21. That's what mine has. Nice and quiet but still a nice note to it
  22. My tierod ends were absolutely cactus a few months ago too. The steering was um...interesting.
