  1. Oh, hehe yeah. Circlip and spring popped out, found their way into the bottom of the box.
  2. It was completely rebuilt. Billet straight cut 1st-4th gears, billet crown wheel and pinion shaft, new diff bearings, Nismo mechanical 1.5way LSD, hydraulic clutch conversion. Had it in the car for all of a trip from Bayswater to Healesville when the circlip popped off the end of the shaft, lodged itself elsewhere in the gearbox and the car was stuck in 5th gear which made for a very interesting and difficult tow home since the car wouldn't roll Gearbox was out of the car on Tuesday, landed in Sydney on Wednesday, got fixed and sent on Thursday arrived back in Melbourne this afternoon and I got the car back this evening. I haven't even driven it yet The Pulsar was auto beforehand, I'd been collecting parts for this conversion since November DECA last year when I pulled the car off the road.
  3. Has Pulsar back with working gearbox
  4. She's back!!! Pissing down with rain, me following in the Skyline: At home and sleeping in her own bed:
  5. I saw the whole taxi rank at Ringwood station today being searched by the Taxi Directorate. Made many lols
  6. Wash your mouth out! I'd trade my R34 for a Cube in a heartbeat.
  7. Am a brunette and prefer brunette/black hair
  8. haha, so yours was the one sitting in Sam's shop forever?
  9. I picked extra small if I have to judge by guy's sizing. Otherwise I'm a ladies size 8.
  10. It feels like a clutch pedal Good news. The box is fixed and it wasn't something massive. The circlip and spring came off the end of the shaft and planted themselves elsewhere in the gearbox. The shaft now has a new circlip and a deeper groove machined to sit in to ensure it's not going to wander out again. I want to say thanks to PAR for all their assistance and quick turnaround in resolving the issue It may arrive in time to be installed for the weekend, otherwise it should be back on the road early next week.
  11. Slight difference in stature
  12. lol, Niroj & Shan the same person Wow, just wow. This thread finally got interesting again.
  13. Yup.
  14. I'm with everyone else. Why should their religion make them exempt from following our laws and receive special treatment? So if you pull me over on the way to a track, are you going to offer me a police escort in my modified car because I'm trying to do the right thing? I think not.
  15. I know, but I want my Pulsar...so bad. The Skyline's not the same.
  16. F*ck, I take back what I said about Pulse. My dry cell just died after only two years. Cock
  17. Yeah, but these things always happen to me. I'd only had it back an hour after being off the road since last November's DECA
  18. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ne....html&st=60 (post 79 onwards.) Seriously, f*ck my life.
  19. Anyway, I went to have a look at it in daylight, still stuck in 5th and the shifter won't budge. I re-installed the lip because it looked ghetto, and took some photos of my Skyline next to it seeing as though it's not moving anywhere and I wanted to do something with it. They've never been next to each other so there's a first for everything. No lip: (excuse how dirty the car is, hasn't been washed for 6 months!) Lip back on: The important bits: Now the wait to find out what's wrong next week.
  20. I got the car back tonight, it drove fantastically for 1 hour. Until it decided it wanted a new friend. Hello Mt Tow Truck. Mr Tow Truck also brought a friend, Mr Lift Kit: And back I where it picked it up a few hours prior. So what's wrong? It's physically stuck in gear and the drive wheels don't move. I had to remove the lip so that we could get the hydraulic arms under around the front wheels and lift it. Towed with the back wheels on the ground. There was no way of getting it onto the tray, you can't even physically pull or push it. It was stuck next to a busy highway literally 30cm off the road for about 1.5 hours, I was just waiting for someone to hit me. It doesn't go into neutral or into any other gear aside from 5th. It's not the clutch, that works fine. There was no grinding, my other half went to go back into 4th and there was nothing, the gearstick does move into the neutral but doesn't wiggle at all and isn't physically in neutral, it's in still in 5th. I'm not learning to drive it this weekend...
  21. I love my Pulse dry cell. Keeps charge very well, sits sideways in my engine bay and is pretty light as far as batteries go.
  22. I wouldn't go so far as to say silent, but very quiet inside the car and not too loud outside the car. At idle it'd almost be as quiet as stock behind the car. I removed the big resonator/second muffler in the middle of the exhaust due to issues with ground clearance and it made pretty much no difference. It's a full 3" stainless steel Fujitsubo turbo-back, but unsure on which model.
