no aftermarket ecu's, no cut wires my car used to stop dead on 175, and one day i thought, lets try this speed cut again, and to my suprise, well off the speedo, well past 180. All on a private road, true story if you car has a speed cut, and u would like it removed, an Apexi RSM can do the trick for u

when i hit the gas, my power light comes on automatically. it turns on when i release the gas. this is regardless of the position of the power/snow switch. all the power button does it hold the gears longer, so letting you rev harder, and possibly hold a gear through corners better
-
mine gets around those speeds and rpms but, at 7000rpm, it gets to about 200, its right off the speedo all done on a private road, of course

HKS do get their turbos from garret, but in the end, you wont get the same results as the HKS unit, with all the money they put into there R&D. Im not saying this 'melbourne garrett guy' cant get the results your after, but it may fall short of the genuine article

prestige also have a stock r32 gtr going for 18,000 it has exhaust, fmic, roll cage and some gauges. DAMN !!! i would love a GTR and its oh soooo tempting

add the neons mate. if it looks shit, then take then off, im sure there would be someone willing to buy them off of you. If your hooking up the neons with a switch, then if should be fine mate, if there is people around that would bag you out, turn it off, easy. I think neons would look sweet, the ones that light up the whole underbody of the car, as if its floating on the neon light, like the pic tosh posted.

high flow the stock turbo.

What does a N/A r33 make stock?!?!

for manual rb25de car, perfect launch. expect a best of low 7's and mid 15's i also feel there is alot of potential for modification -
if its genuine Cwest, it would cost a hell of a lot more then 2000 to buy, paint and install. the dealer is trying to pull a fast one over you i say.
-
i actually noticed this as well recently ive ALways used mobil full synthetic. and it always stays at 4, on the dot but theres some shell full synthetic in ther now, and on full acceleration its just a hair above 4, at idle its down to 3
-
good condition r34 turbos are going for low low 30's please do some more shopping around, good to see your going NA skyline !
-
extractors made locally should be around the 400-650 mark. some Very nice Fujitsubu extractors are around $2400AUD..... i wouldnt expect more then 5% odd increase, mainly at top end.

its very hard to restrict people on what cars they can or cannot drive when young, really i think it should come down to power/torque to weight ration etc.. but that wouldnt be the easiest to enforce and too easy to alter. advance driving course is a good idea alot of people are mentioning car forums to car magazines. But there should be some incentive rather then 'do or dont get licence' approach. Say, if you complete the driving course, maybe the fee's in getting the actual licence is reduced. It does cost alot more these days jsut to get a licence, well nsw at least

which sort of parts are u after mate? fuel pump, id go for anything that would be up to the job and fits.

Not sure if you're interested

drop the ride hight ! if the car is a little too harsh, maybe try to swap with m-spec suspension? good stuff mate, congrats -
if i corner fast around a larger radius, around a left turn the needle rockets up, all the way sometimes. after i got a car back installed, the fuel gauge seems to be more accurate. before it sort of got stuck periodically.

entry level engine for skylines. 6 cylinder, single cam. mainly used for taxi's and things in japan. produces around 105kw im guessing your cefiro came with this engine also? nice car by the way
-
ive had the idea about the throttle bodies as well, but it is a rather expensive route i would imagine. it certainly would make the airflow to each cylinder even and mite sharpen up repsonse, though it all depends on how good the current plenum is of cause. i would also love to have 6 trumpets sticking out of the side of the engine !!!! i dont know about the strength of the bottom end, im not even sure if they are the same parts as the turbo, ive already started a thread but not havnt got too much replies, i dont think many people are after that level power and money spend from an NA engine. like nismoman18 said, there not too much point reving too hard, peak power is at 6400, and it drops down sharply after 7000rpm. this can call change with new camshafts of cause =D

Very nice mate. didnt realise how special and nice your car is matey. damn u, ur in japan, damn you !!!! -
your after 210hp at the engine ? well, the RB25de already makes a nice 190-195hp at the engine mate after all that work, my conservative(!) guesstimate for power output would be at least 280hp at the engine.

be sure that all participants know what the cruise is about. i just dont want any idiot to do stupid things, considering that it was a car accident that took away his life.

okay, i am seriously considereing buy some form of air/fuel controller. justjap and jms have a 1st gen apexi AFC for 150 and 120 respectively. with this particular model, u only have one point of adjustment for the entire rev range, which sucks. the 1st gen apexi SAFC has 5 points of adjustment, and these are about 200 bux. these are better. the latest AFCs from apexi are about the 650 mark and have a very flexible tuning ability. HKS AFR also have a very good alternative, they were the first to sell this sort of tuning device on the market. the other modual im looking at is the field's SFC hyper. both the fields and the hks have alot of flexibility, but arent as pretty as the current apexi 2nd gen safcs.

What does a N/A r33 make stock?!?!
Nismodified replied to YnVmE4's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
slay.... well i dont think that would be case it all comes down to the launch of the turbo, they are pretty tricky to get spot on. if u get a nice launch, dont expect him to blow u away too easily, cos the turbo will have to earn their keep !! -
meggala can help alot if u need info about modding the rb20de, as he was on the same path for awhile. in my opinion, if u want to have an NA skyline, u really need at least 2.5 L capacity. all skylines a quite heavy unfortunatly, and those extra cubes are worth every dollar. rb25 had around 40kws more power then rb20, those are very hard kw's to get as well
