  1. i have a 5zigen cat back, 2 3/4 inch, it could be a turbo exhaust im not sure, but its drony and loud only between 1500-2000rpm Rest of the time its more then fine. My car has this very distinctive exhaust note and this nice throbbing, any one else have this. Im sure its from the RB25 engine
  2. turbo back exhaust. bleed valve, pod and shielding. suspension maybe brake pads.
  3. I getting F!#@$# zapped everynight !!!
  4. I think all you guys too this "challenge" the wrong way I think it was meant to be a joke and pure sarcasm because the crap that was written is absoultly ridiculous. Only a pure retard would take a 1000hp N2O, supercharged 454 Torry around any corner at any speed on a track or down the strip whilst neglecting any form of suspension work what so ever. Going straight, corners, or sideways, you need the correct suspension
  5. filter number should be on the filter. oil, if its the na, its either the 3L six cyl, or 4L v8, i wouldnt use more then semi-synthetic, but thats me
  6. since we are talking about retuned factory cars nismo tuned GT-RZ will give that gemballa a run no worries mate
  7. The one in the movie was fwd GS-t they also come in 4wd GS-x they have 4g63 turbo engines if i can recall and some people feel that the engines that came int he eclipes' are too unreliable
  8. damn, hope everyone is ok shame about the sweet looking car
  9. any benefit in using one of these fans and directing the airflow at say an oil cooler, even a small stock intercooler?
  10. not many honda fellas here
  11. GTR's do not have it at all. i have heard that some R33 na's have VCT, and its on the intake side only.
  12. If nissan were to put a V8 into a GTr, they would have only 2 choices. Either use an infinity Q45 4.5L V8 or use a de-tuned R390 LM engine 3.9V8-TT, which uses a magnesium block. Keep in mind that Nissan are still trying to get out of the hole they got themselves into in the 90's, they cannot afford to devote one special engine for one car alone, but modify an existing engine. A V6TT is the best choice, in my opinion. Notice how they like to use the their new V6 from the 350z. they use that in the G35 sedans and coupes at the moment, and also in 4wds and anything else they can cram it into. That current pic floating around in one of the current issue aussie magazines, is a picture from the internet, and is a photochop, ive had that pic on my HDD from months. Remember, they WILL change the design of the car all the way up to the last minute. The 350z was change in the final months before its release. Its relase date (in the US) was known before the final design. Though those final changes were small, there were still changes made.
  13. What about the gentlemens aggreement? You can take that aggreement and Shove IT Up Yo A$$ !! Who knows and who cares about it, many have passed it already, and it only serves as a restriction for Nissans cars.
  14. a V8 wouldnt bad at all...high tech high revving engine, but id like it to stay a six. As long as the new GTR exceeds its predesors (spelling) then we all should be happy. But if there was a V8 option, and it was sold here...wouldnt it be sweet to own bathurst again..? From the specs, it looks like the engine is going to be gruntier in the mid section, and rev a bit less, but be totally barnstorming overall !! think about this for a second, a Road version of a JGt car !! those things are limited to about 500ps in the championship
  15. i thought the GTS-r made in the order of 250hp and the GTS-x was around 200hp all in all though, they are very nice speed machines
  16. UPU55Y on a stock lilac excel sprint :
  17. There is too much varience to simply put one figure for drive train loss. all we really have is estimates
  18. a GTR would crap all over a GTS on the street. But GTR's arent designed purely for the straight line either, lets see how far the gap becomes when its starts to get twistier
  19. [sXE-80Y] some loser idiot..
  20. the spec, i can rememver for sure but peak torque was at 5200rpm, pretty high power, 6800rpm had about 150 odd kws
  21. i also think that this will be the case. either now, or possibly early Jan 04 is when i think it will happen.
  22. /me waves fists in the air yes your right, Grrrrr hahhaha
