Electrical Cables To M35 Rear Vision Mirror.
Tonkachow replied to Tonkachow's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
I think the Heater element might be the answer. There is a switch under the mirror but it seems to be purely mechanical and I can,t see any sensors or switches to turn it on and off. What stag. What size and offset are your rims? -
Saw this car today also pulling out of Broadway Shell servo. Very nice.

Yeh I kind of got a kinky nipple thought when I was putting the vas on. Did I just say that out aloud.
-
Too late, it's random enough. I got what I wanted so it's open for interpretation now.e

Wow! I go away for 12 hrs and my thread turns into Brokeback Mountain meets Cannonball run. Haha Car seems ok with the Vas now. See how it goes over the next few days.

Ok, I didn't know all of that, but I will check everything stated above. It seems to wind over fine, batter isn't showing signs of low power. But will check it anyways, cheers.

I know you aren't really supposed to start your car while the A/C compressor is switched on, but has anyone else noticed if they do it first thing in the morning, the car doesn't like it at all. I get oil pressure warning lights and whacked out engine idle which prompts me to switch the car off straight away. Happen first time yesterday, and then again this morning. If I switch it off and start it again with the A/C turned off it's fine. And if I try start it again with the A/C switched on it's fine. Or is it just mine??

Saw a Purple M35 ( don't get offended if it isn't purple ) in Dee Why this morning about 10 o'clock heading Warringah direction.

M35 Dash Mount Media Computer
Tonkachow replied to scotty nm35's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Me too with the iPad. Doubt any tuning is possible with it though. Lucky I got nothing to tune. -
What WILL.I.AM said. Not interested in the twisty bits. But an improvement is always a worthwhile upgrade. You can never have to much over taking power though.
-
Ok that makes sense. That's extra coin I hadn't counted on in the immediate future, but I guess that's why I am asking. Cheers

Bejesus. Options galore. Thanks. Anyone bought anything this expensive without being hit by massive tax at customs.
-
Might do that on a spare weekend. How long will it be out for mate?

It seems you are the most experienced in this. I was reading about the G 35 APS kit. I'm just thinking the most reliable easily accessible heat efficient option. I'm sure you have covered every option out there. Feel free to fill me in on the positives and negatives on them. The more I look into it. The more I feel Nissan didn't want this car modified.

Turbo M35's. Can you please tell me how the single turbo is setup on your cars. I am just curious as the whole thought of slapping a TT on the car seems silly if you can get a big single in there no worries. I think the 3.5 would handle a big single well with minimal lag. So can you explain to me how they do it on your cars. Is there a cross over pipe from one bank to the others? Is the turbo mounted low in the bay?? etc etc..... Cheers.
-
I guess I can do that . I just figured there on the Prestige website so people already know what it looks like. I have been looking at options in regards to the turbo, but the transmission is kind of scaring me off at the moment, after scotty's time and investment into his auto box it sounds like only wad loads of money will solve the issue. That's a cost you don't really need in terms of an engine build. Wheels and brakes are do able so I might just start there, and enjoy the Stag for a bit.

It possibly could have been. The wife had the car AGAIN, so it's possible. I don't think I get to drive it on weekends, as it has the baby seat and she takes the bub everywhere on weekends.

Haha those 40's remind me of my daughters billy cart wheels with chromed hub covers.

That's a bummer, nothing more stressful then a car you paid good money for giving you grief. I learned a lesson or two with the GTR myself. There a bit like a new girlfriend though, only time will tell what you got.

Rays Volk Racing Ce28n 19" Rims
Tonkachow replied to type-s's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Doh. If only they weren't staggered. Beautiful rim. -
So I guess these aren't gonna fit either. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Wo...-F-t340622.html Bummer. I know it's an M35 but I just like the look of a race wheel.

Got the call to pickup the M35 today, no doubt I been waiting for the call all day. My wife got to drive it out of the yard and I had to take the subaru which I didn't mind because at least we ended up agreeing to buying a Stagea. She rings me 20 mins later to tell me the Water temp has gone through the roof and she had pulled over somewhere in Seaforth so I tell her to stay put and get in touch with the guys down at North Shore to let them know the concerning news. I have to say I test drove this car a number of times and this never happened. Ben informed me that it possibly the thermo fan had failed. So I go see my wife and check it out, and sure enough it was the thermo fan was cactus causing it to overheat with the A/C running when the car had stopped at lights etc. I was reassured by my wife that she didn't let it run hot for long and actually decided to keep an eye on it from first switch of a key. It seems all my nagging to her about the importance of keeping an eye on guages in the modified GTR I owned previously didn't fall on deaf ears and I feel kind of proud of her. Ben promptly stayed behind this afternoon and replaced it with another one and all was good again. I was impressed in which the speed he did it in, and also while he was there he offered to do the fan belts as well. I have to admit, I was surprised cars these days run only electric fans, as I am used to stairing at the 33 engine bay all these years. I just figure a mechanical fan gives piece of mind. Despite the bad start to the new car, I just want to reinforce what everyone else here has said about North Shore Prestige. They have been great to deal with and I feel like I have just bought a car from two guys I have known for years That's my shout out, see you guys on the road.
