  1. Cheers for the reply. I realize mods = money but I just want to find out that it's been done or is possible on the tuning side of things for the M35 VQ 3.5 ltr model.
  2. Can some1 help me out. I am in the process of selling my car and was looking to upgrade to a 34 gtr. Having stumbled across the M35 I am seriously thinking of getting one of these instead. But upon reading through the threads ( not all of them as its' too long) am I correct in assuming these cars aren't easy to modify and tune for some big numbers??Because those 3.5 litre stags are screaming out for a nice twin turbo kit to hang off it. Why this over a GTR? M35 is a wagon and it's a more modern car loaded with some nice features. 3.5 ltr with a twin turbo kit on top of the Attesa AWD really turns me on as well. The auto is a shame though. Any input would be appreciated. Cheers.
  3. Ah thanks for that mate. I'm hopeless with the search options on this forum.
  4. The Km's on the dash read 125 000. The rebuild of the motor was done at 65 000 klm's. 6 Months ago I got the Mod bug again and pulled the motor down with plans on doing a Rb30/26, but now I would just prefer to buy a 34 GTR. So while the motor was out I got new Acl race bearings put in before they put it back together and back in the car, the rest of the motor got a clean bill of health, have documentation/receipts for everything done to motor. Will post pics up tomorrow, as I have just got back to sydney and it's bit dark for anything decent.
  5. I'm out of town at the moment sorry. I have put it up for sale here about 6 months ago with a pic but can't find it. Be back in syd tomorrow and will get more up. Mods list Brand new HD exceedy clutch. Trust front mount Trust oil cooler/relocated kit Trust fuel rail Trust pod filters Sard injectors Power enterprise turbo's Response Series (N1 equivalent) Power enterprise dumps Arias pistons Acl race bearings. Trust metal gasket Reconditioned head Greddy boost controller Turbo timer RDA rotors front and back 6 months old Bendix ultimate pads front and back 6 months old. And as luck may have it I have just lost my phone. So i can only receive communication through here for now. Sorry Selling cause I have found my new car so the cash will help fund that. Cheers.
  6. Selling my 33 Gtr. Condition of body is O.k. There is pain fade on the roof and wing as well as some hail dings on bonnet and roof. Front bumper is heavily chipped and rust in spots. So it could do with a respray but I don't mind as I have had it for 6 years and just enjoy driving it. Mechanically. It's very reliable, and has been running 340kw 1.5bar at the wheels for the last 4 years. I recently removed the 4" cannon and replaced it with a big muffler and cat and now it's boost is restricted to 1.2bar but unsure of what power it's producing at that boost. But it is nice and quiet now and I enjoy driving it much more as there was way too much drone. It has all the mods internally and externally to support those numbers easy. 18" driftek rims. 8 months NSW registration. $12000 Bowlgowah/ Sydney 0431540388
  7. You know how to burst my bubble fast. Cheers.
  8. I have been looking into possibly buying an M35 stagea as a family car and was surprised to see that they came in a 3.5ltr V6 which bolted up to an ATTESSA AWD system as an option. I own a 33 GTR and naturally I got these power greedy thoughts on the possibilities of dropping a 3.5ltr v6 into a GTR and whacking the turbos up to it. I know just because it has an attessa awd doesn't mean the GTR driveline will hook up. but has anybody thought about it, or know of it being tried. 3.5 litres of all alloy motor with a couple of snails on the side sounds very meaty to me.
  9. Do you know if the 34 wheel will fit a 33 GTR mate.
  10. Who done that for you, I want my 33 GTR done the same. If yours fit I would just buy yours. Cheers.
  11. Anyone fill me in on what size cat is required for a particular sized exhaust, I have read bigger the cat the better. Also has anyone used a SMB cat? If so how does it stack up against other brands. Cheers.
  12. Ok, I was talking to a muffler shop today and there rates were quite reasonable I thought. See what they have to say about this idea in terms of cost. But I wont stay with the 4" I will just go to 3.5" like you mentioned. Cheers.
  13. ok, that sounds simple enough. If I just tell the muffler shop exactly what you said, are they going to know what I want or are they going to ask me more questions that I wont have any idea in answering. I'm not real fussed on it being lighter then air or being a japa exhaust, I just want it quiet through the rev range. You sound like you ahve done this, what has it costed you?? Thanks for your help.
  14. I'm chasing a quieter exhaust for my 33GTR. The one on it currently drones it's ass off and is loud on open throttle. It's a 4' inch from cat back, not quite sure how big from the dumps though. The car is running 1.2bar and pushing 340kw atw. I am interested in what people are using or what they have done to there current exhausts to make it quieter. I really want quiet as possible without disturbing flow capacity of course, and a silencer isn't an option. Happy to spend up to 1500 for one. Cheers.
  15. Hi all. I need a new exhaust and was looking at the Nur spec. It comes with a silencer and I was wandering if anybody knows if it restricts flow and causes significant power loss. If so I will just look to buy a quieter system. Thanks.
  16. stand behind it an check if the rear guards are flared or if there flush with the rest of the car. GTR's have flared rear guards and its very noticeable. It's possible that a GTS could have flared rear guards as well but I haven't seen any.
  17. Is this thing quiet with no drone mate?
  18. Price on clutch on it's own please.
  19. Yes you did reply and then I replied back but now both replies are gone. Weird. Anyway what I said was I thought Push type clutches came with conversion kits to go from a Pull type to a Push type clutch, which is what the OS Giken push type clutch I thought did. But you said it's just the clutch only that you have. That's all. Cheers.
  20. Dude. Does the clutch come with all the gear to convert from pull to push. Cheers.
  21. Cheers. Not after a trade but thanks. I think it's different when you own the car for so long and have driven it, I personally feel like I have enjoyed it and gotten my value for money out of the car over the years. If I had only owned it 12 months or so, then I guess I would have a hard time excepting to let it go at that price. If I don't sell it, then I will get more driving pleasure out of it. Well my wife will. I am stuck with the Subaru Wagon and a babyseat cause I am the stay home dad now and she drives it to work.
  22. I have owned this car for 6 years . For two of those years, I was out of the country, and for the other 4 years I pretty much drove it. It's never seen a quarter mile or a track. If your after a show car conditioned GTR then this is not the car for you. It has 117k on the clock. I had the motor rebuilt by Advan a year after I bought it and reconditioned the head , and that was done at 65k. Has roughly 320+KW at the wheels, I can't remember exactly cause it was that long ago since I did the tune and dont have the sheet anymore( will continue to look for it though). The body isn't great, has paint fade on the roof and in spots, bottom lip on front spoiler is cracked, and some hail dings. Interior is in good condition. Mechanically though, there is nothing to spend. I have just installed -Brand new HD Exceedy clutch -Brand new RDA brakes and rotors front and back. - New Nankang 18's ( I know what your thinking ' Nankangs WTF' but my wife drives it to work now, so there is no high performance needed for that. Had the engine pulled down and checked over while clutch was out and installed new big and small end bearings and metal gaskets. The motor was said to still be nice and tidy when pulled down. List of modifications include - -Arias Pistons -Trust Metal Gasket -Sard 770cc injectors -Trust Fuel Rail -G Reddy Oil Cooler/ Relocator kit -Trust Front mount intercooler -Twin Apexi Air Filters -Power Enterprise Response Series Turbos and dumps. -Upgraded intank fuel pump ( cant remember which one ) -Alloy Radiator - 3.5'inch Jap Aftermarket exhaust - 18' driftek rims. -Blitz electronic boost controller - turbo timer Anyway, I have owned and enjoyed it for long enough. I'm after $17500 not negotiable. If it doesn't sell at that then I get to keep it and continue to keep driving it I guess. If your after a showcar, like I said, this isn't the car for you, but if your after a reliable reasonably powered GTR with a bit of character, then might be worth a look. Graham 0431540388 Newcastle PS. I drive it to sydney most weekends for training I do down there, if that makes it easier for a look. Cheers. Will post more pics up tomorrow, this is the only one on my comp right now.
