r32 gtr, power level was 396hp then went to 435hp massive improvement in throttle response and power. car felt much torquier through the rev range and a lot smoother. car felt almost transformed to drive. the car was tuned at pitts so the power fc wasn't a dodgy tune either. but i must say a fair amount of time was put into this tune, more than what was possible with a power fc, for instance with the wolf i have tuning points every 125rpm right up to the 8500 rev limit.

hmmm mines been out for a fair while. will be around the 10 month period when it's finished (couple months) left me at 330awkw. will come back somewhere above that lol

my votes going to go for the wolf v500. but i upgraded from a power fc to one and it was the best thing i've done. little bit over your price but well worth the cash.

so it's a piggy back? i guess i have a different meaning for "full stand alone ecu" all makes sence now though. my wolf drives like factory too. but it has all idle up features for air con etc. can't recomend it enough. but it does sound like a remap of the factory comp might be a good idea for you. all i can say is selling much?

brand new 26 rods from nissan (didn't want to try second hand) where pretty expensive. so i just went spool rods in my 26. but even at 330awkw and an 8500rpm rev limit they only damage to the rods was the bearing surface because the oil pump failed.

hmmm if the hks f con v pro won't affect it does it have the capability to handle the auto. because from what i understand is isn't running a seperate ecu for the auto. so unless the f con v can control the auto how will it work. just curios ,stephen

99.9% sure a wolf v500 will do it. i know my mechanic was doing it on a soarer and remember him telling me it will do auto shifts etc. plus it's one hell of a feature packed ecu for the price www.wolfems.com.au

i'll happily reccomend him. my gtr's in there at the moment getting a rebuild and a few things. he tuned the v500 on it too. was a major difference to the old power fc. if your in there check out the 180 he's building. it's worth a look.

hmm motor and gearbox details sound intresting. as far as styling goes can anyone say aston martin?

speaking of extrude honing is there anywhere to get it done in brisbane? looking to get a standard set of manifolds honed and coated.

very intrested in how it compares ot the new v500 from wolf. as i know my mechanic has one running a soarers auto gearbox and many other nice bit and pieces. at 1900 for the wolf they are in similiar price ranges and both aussie made products. very intrested which ones come out looking the best

why does it have to be a regular unleaded. think about looking for a small diesal hatch or something simiair. lol dad's turbo diesal navara gets 9-10ltrs per 100k and that's a 2.5 tonne ute.

is this still on? would the advantage of the bigger one be when dumping the clutch? especially in gtr's? i *might* be keen as i need a new tailshaft. so f**k it put me down as an almost definate.

most people get caught with this one. it must be 100mm or higher with a fully loaded car.

used to have two spotlights as reversing lights (switched so they wheren't on when reversing in town) on our old 60 series cruiser. funny thing was they where also switched to turn on whenever i wanted them on. shit it was funny sometimes.
