yes you'll get more power at the same boost level. you should also look into a new clutch and fuel pump

hey guys I'm selling my car and have some parts left over I have a set of tein hr coilovers there stiff as good for track and have no leaks and are height adjustable.... one knocks a little rear left but it is just a small knock from the top bush I could fix this before selling if needed. I have a set of shadow chrome advanti five spoke 18" rims with rubber two might pass roadworthy...... and i have a series 2 afm (pink label)... looking for $1400 the lot.. I can break them up for the right price I have attached a pic of the car with tein in and 18's on Cheers Russ

Short story I put in a new stock ecu. Now the blue plug that is bracketed to the car behind the ecu is click or ticking. Each time is happens and car has a power loss

hey guys I put a new ecu in my car today its just another stock one for a series 2 r33, after I put it in and connected the power back up everything was fine I started the car and it all seemed to be working well. I turned the car off and put the ecu back into place along with the covers. After doing this I thought I'll go for a drive and see how she feels, but when I turned on the accessories I heard a very rapid ticking or clicking sound from the area ecu I did not try to start the car at this point just turned it off. So I pulled it all back out to have a look but it all looked fine! I turned the key again with the ecu just lying on the floor and nothing, the accessories came on and it all looked well, after a few seconds a moved the ecu around a little and the car stalled and the clicking started again much slower just 1-2 clicks a second????? It seems to be coming from that little blue plug that sits behind the ecu and is bracketed to the car???? Any idea why this would be happening? Or what it is? each click I could hear the fuel pump stopping and my safc would turn off…

Hhhmmm I need an rb25 series 2 manual if you still have any? what does cc stand for? I guess something I should know before buying a ecu lol

have you got a graph showing a/f mix? its sounds pretty right but you could bump it up to 12psi for a little extra power. mine made 200kw on 12psi but I have a jap remaped ecu picking up the timming.

in monitoring mode it was at 60-80. in set up mode in sensor check it was showing 320-330. but as I said went for a drive later on and it was fine.

yes true I got in the car about an hour ago and knock was 0 after a while it was on 5 at ilde. so got me stuffed!!!
