  1. yeh I have been told its not the o2 sensor,(in saying that I don't know if they have ever checked it). as soon as the car got bad on fuel that was my first thought but the machanics keep saying its just the computer... I guess it's just an easy way out without doing anything. I had about 40 and then 47 with the vaccum to the reg disconnected??

  3. Why do you think I'll run into detonation issues? yeh I'd say the timing has been tuned up as It does drive very well! I hope I'll gain a little more power and at least get a little better fuel economy with a safc, as Its the worst skyline I've ever seen on fuel... I checked the fuel pressure today which I think is right at 40psi just switched on, and then upto 47psi once loaded up??
  4. The senor was in front of the pod. so I have know idea why the temp is so high.

  6. Yeh I think the timing would have been changed.. as you said it has a very good power curve and output considering the tune, thats why I think it must have something I don't know about??? any idea's guys???
  7. yes easy to take out, I use a xforce system also on my r33 gtst, they seem to work fine you should get a gain with your gtr for sure. I don't think there all that loud either at least on a gtst!

I have had other dyno runs resulting in 218rwkw before. this is the lowest I have run on that boost (12psi) I put this one in because on that dyno on that day every else who run there car thought it was spot on... most people did get a little less then they had got on other dyno's. thats why I think it may be a flow'd turbo? with boost dropping to 10psi and a bad tune it's still making good power. I have mates running the same mods + safc and making the same power, however there boost will stay at 12psi, and there tune is alot better. and side by side I'd say my car has the power ot there's for sure! also I have same what of a cold air intake. (boxed off pod)

Hey guys just looking for some opinions here, this is my last dyno run, on stock turbo (as far as i know) high flow'd fuel pump, front mount cooler, and 3" turbo back exhaust. boost at 12 psi however it drops of to around 10psi. I know guys running the same mods and making 30kw less. my ecu has a "ksp tunning factory" sticker on it, could that explain it? do you think the turbo may be flow'd? also what do you think I should expect from a safc?   11. I havent got into forza 2 yet is it much better? or the same? EngoR33-300 what whole track can you drift? I can do a couple..... sometimes in one big ass slide its sweet as!!!

  13. stock is like 80-85db I think! and just dion the front end of the exhaust will help! but If you want power and lots of it it'll be loud! My 2 cent's
  14. my car gets 270-300kms out of a full tank. So when my fuel light comes on I head for the servo, I dont think I'll get any more then 20k's if that........ dam car! anyone else get this sort of fuel usage?
  15. R33 series 2 (96) 3" turbo back fmic 600*300*76mm high flow'd fuel pump stock turbo (as mentioned before it has steel compressor wheel????) Profec b boost controller 175rwkw @ 8-9 psi and 200rwkw @ 12-10 psi (boost drop) and running very rich! I would like to here any thoughts anyone may have on this dyno run. Cheers.
  16. my car made 200.2kw without an safc and my afr at 10.5:1 top end, on 12psi dropping back to around 10psi top end also. What do you guys think I could gain with a safc??? and say tuned at around 12:1 afr?? I have a 96 r33 s2 with 3" turbo back zorst, fmic 600*300*76mm, high flow fuel pump and stock turbo with steel front wheel? ( series 2 should have plastic one.) Cheers Russ

  20. forza by far.... I have 2 s15's with rb26 one's just nuts and the other is tuned much lower but makes a great drift car. I also use the gtr's, s14, s15 (sr20), 300zx and the nsx. I wish it had some gtst's in it!!!

  22. yeh just do the mod easy as... altho it didn't work on my car If you remove the solenoid you'll only get low boost (5psi) unless you have a boost controller.. I'd say do the mod or just leave it and practice your launching. you might just be reving to high when you drop the clutch
  23. Yeh might be the cooler its 600*300*76mm.... hope the turbo isn't going out!! anyone have any problems with the stock bov? yeh I do run less boost this was just for a dyno run!! Cheers Russ
  24. I did think off that, but I know of guy's who run 12-13psi on the stock turbo and seem to think it holds all the way!
