  1. dont quote me on this as ive never pulled a gtr sump off, however from every other engine ive pulled down the pick up is attached to the oil pump, meaning sump off, which could also mean engine out for gtr, like i said though dont quote me, duncan would know 100percent.

  4. i had this problem with my cefiro, i used a s13n/a one. fits with abit to spare, just enough imo as im not left with accel cable half way around engine bay... worth a shot, should cost f**k all from a wrecker.
  5. incredibly intresting as i have hot spot issue's i think. sometimes my gauge spikes etc however its the wroung sender for my car *rb25 cefiro*.. also i get excesive knock on the powerfc at stupidly light throttle always at 3000rpm even with less then std timming. readings of 70... would it be possibly for me just to hook up a hotspot reserviour for the cooling system and just by-pass the throttle body? as ive remooved the throttle preheats.... whats your thoughts? p.s also could you get those pics up as i want to see how you did your cooling lines.

  7. my pfc tune with basic mods was 550-600.. then the tune was f**ked up and i had to get some more tuning done, which cost another 250 so say 850 all up....
  8. what was the reason the head was reco'ed? maybe there is another reason theres a noise?

  10. good to hear you got it off * now you know why mechanics charge so much, not because its hard but because when shit like this happens we get headache's * lol. your also corrrect about the tensioner and its considerd good practice to replace all seals,bearings,studs,water pump etc.. i'd suggest this if you dont wana be pulling this shit appart again... other then that tehres the old rule, if it aint broke dont fix it. up to you

  12. i got quoted almost $800 for remoove old screen, fit new and replace all seals etc.... luckily my insurance is payin and not me... thankgod for shannons 1 free glass a yr policy.

  15. so i got epa'ed and im in need of a cefiro std airbox, apparatly a r32gtst airbox is the same *nisswreck think its close enough* so basicaly i needa borrow either one... any body help? i can pay deposit or w/e is neccesary.

  17. im not sure if it'll help but in my case a31 cefiro/rb25 the throttle cable was to short, i sourced an s13 srde cable * not sure same as det* and its perfect length, bout 3inch's longer, which is great and provides just enough slack but not to much... might be worth a shot, wrecker wouldnt charge jack.

  19. looks the goods mate, i'd just be a lil worried about the amount of strain that ur putting on the accelerator cable.. seems o be at a very bad angle..unless its just the pics and im dreamding.

  23. a noid light will tell you if you are getting injector power... sk on my instalation i cut off the throttle pre heats, simply because they looked wierd just sittin there and there's not much need for it, surly the amount of heat transfer from the engine is enough heat.. how did your's go for fitmant? im still have coolant leak issue's out of one of the mountin bolt hole's...dont mind the coolant over the front of the engine,i was just to lazy to whipe it up before snappy taken heres mine installed.   24. convert it to a girlie box *auto*. it'll give you a nice overdrive and you could have it shift kitted so that when you wana give it some stick it'll do the job. or wait auto's are heavier on the juice :S
