  4. exhaust sounds tough as nails! now all you need *judging by those undercarriage photo's* is lots of rubber up those guards.

  7. hey guys im having issues atm trying to set the ignition timming on my rb25det. the its basicaly all std bar the usual mods cooler,exhaust etc. the problem im having is i cant get the crank set right with a timming light to get 15deg, ive cheaked and reset the cam timming on the via the timming belt as whoever did it previously had it 1tooth off exhaust side.. so now i can get it to 15deg at the crank but its undrivable, its like the car is loaded on a dyno i.e timming retarded alot. now im wondering how this is so? any idea? possibly autodet ecu? bad knock sensor? what are some things that could retard ignition timming even at idle.. in listening to any ideas you guys have. thanx in advance

  11. i seen him bout to turn right onto epping rd from lancove, pulled up beside him expecting to see nick, n there he was lol.
  12. i must of missed ya phil, me n the others went n got food then returned to find no skanks and no cars. it was much better with alot less honda's with black bonnets.
  13. remember because you've been cranking it but without spark it'll be full of fuel, take the plugs out n dry them, let it air abit then put em back in and re try...5 bucks its now floded with petty.
  14. i realised this was awhile back now BUT my car was in that vid and running pretty bad that night. ive managed a 13.6@105-106mph on my 18's. that was like my first night racing LOL. if you look at the mph the other cars are running it shows that theyre faster then the times they run... either way wheres the vid of this STOCK cordia doing 13.7. or is that just what the factory spec is? which is LOL to say the least.
  15. hey guys im basicaly posting this to make sure im not going mad!. rb25 s2 engine base ignition timming via the crank marks should be 10deg btc corret? also that would make it the third mark from the far left correct? ive been looking at my crank pully for awhile and its sent me mad, now im doubting myself, all i need is a simple yes your correct. thanks LOL
  16. my rb25 ceffie does the exact same thing, id be keen to see what fixs urs, my timming is way off though and i duno why, its literaly off the crank scale's
  17. The following are the parts you will need: 1 x Ball point pen (I'm a high roller these days so I use a PARKER PEN, but any old pen will do.) 1 x shetland pony (this is the expensive part, but to make it cheaper, you can just steal one) LOL!!!!
  18. this is exactly what worries me with these highflow options, the varied life of the turbo's, dodgy machine work and general power differences all throw me off. i mean they charge right on the money for a garret option and lets face it theyre reusing old bits, its more of a scrapy turbo throw together... i do however like the ease of fitment.

  21. hey guys im attemping to fit a gredy copy plenum to my rb25 cefiro, ive hit a major snag mainly the clutch master cylinder lol, the rear section of the plenum fouls on the clutch master, ive "manouverd" the angle of the clutch master. ive also filed off some of the plenum itself in the problem section, still no luck... any idea's? anyone come across this problem? ive thought bought modifiyin the engine mounts to sit it lower therefore clearing the plenum, however im pretty sure its running to std ceffy crossmember so id have to modify the engine mount bracket... any suggestions at this stage will be taken on... cheers
  22. that r34 ls1 twin turbo has popped plenty turbo sets, and isnt the peer cars sponserd by gcg? if so why wuld they use cheap turbo's? unless theyve changed sponsership, which culdve happened while ive been under a rock :S
