  1. lock the gearbox in 1st gear, to stop the spline from mooving, are you sure the clutch is linned up? and make sure the plate slide over ur input shaft *i.e correct clutch instaled* other then that you could jack the front of the motor up causing the rear of the motor to lower and make it kinda easier, other then that just try get 1 bolt lined up and slowly tighten it, the get another one in and do the same, be very carefull not to overtighten one side or you run the risk of crakin the bell housin.. best of luck.

  4. oh well each to theyre own, nissan enginers a motor that works for the best price as mass production, dont think they do it for whats best for the motor, i realise your thinking behind your purchase, think of this the reason coilpacks fail is because of excesive heat. e.g being bolted to the cylinder head then coverd up. ef allows to remotly mount the coilpack and run a longer dwelltime = more power...
  5. one quick question.. with those mods listed i would have expected a lot more than 300kw at the wheels ??? very conservative tune/boost or is that all she puts out ? id say it was on a realistic dyno.
  6. ef coilpack=$105 ef top gun 8mm leads=$30 sparky to wire it up=$50-100 max ignitor=$80 say roughly $300 worst case.. splitfires=$580 odd from memory double the price?not for me i know which one is better, ef can run longer dwell then splitfires= better burn= more power will not over heat due to being able to run away from the cylinder head. only downside is fitment which isnt hard and the splitfires only thing goin for em is that theyre bolt in. ef coilpack from start to finish max 2hrs.. being an rb25neo would prob have to source a ignitor which is hard. plenty reason to use an alternative

    Plenum:

    strut braces for mazda cappela rx2? with a custom rotary style symbol top.. got any idea's? must be polished lookin at front and rear.

  14. crd wanted $850 for a microtech full-tune. to me yes they are good but we arent talking bout race cars here. daily driven rb20 with in crd standards *lite* mods. they build a name and well worth the money going by the cars they race, ofcourse theyre gona be realy nice to you when you spend 1months wages with them lol.

  17. hey fella's this post is directed mainly towards engine tuners or people familiar with microtech lt12. i reccently instaled wasted spark to my car and now i needa adjust the dwell timming, i know what its gota be at, just dont know how to change it correctly and i dont wana stuff it up, ive read over the microtech book and used google cant find what im after, basicaly if someone in the know could help me with a step by step to adjusting it, i.e scroll ref down 3 times or something simlar, or even a picture of the handset screen i needa look for, that would be great, thanks in advance for any help comming my way..

  20. slide highflow, ecu and a set of injectors with net close to 240 on a healthy motor with as previously stated "buttload of boost" << LOL get ready for the lagg.
  21. hey fella's just wondering what is the specified rail presure for an rb20 with rb26 injectors. i now have a sard fuel reg on my car and just want a base setting for now. thanks.

  23. $40 each is to much, i would have them flowed and latency tested, just to make sure theyre fine, its 150odd for piece of mine that the spray pattern's are fine and they all flow with x% of each other.
  24. fuel pump - $200 front mount-$350-$400 apexi power intake- $100 make sure the rest of the car is up for it. i.e timming belt been done, clutch been done.. dnt spend all ur cash on mods only to blow the std clutch and be without it till you can save again. as you can see still plenty of cash left.
