  4. hey guys im just wondering is there a specific setting i could adjust cam gears to on a rb20 inlet and exhaust, usin std cams. or jst take it to a dyno(makes more sense to me at a dyno)

  7. for rb20 you only need exhaust side correct? if so put me dwn for a blue exhaust wheel, any deccent gains on std cams? extra stress etc?

  11. my old ecu chipped by garage saurus in japan caused my car to melt the ringlands on a few cyclinders, make sure its not detonating or runnin lean, in the end bite the bullet and get a pfc i reakon,
  12. just a quick cheak first up, make sure the engine itself is correctly timmed at tdc, make sure its true tdc, dont go by markings as such, just make sure the motor comes on compression number 1 and then cheak marks, keyway's on the crank couldve sherred off or distored, just be sure

  17. i had my gts-t stolen from out the front of my girlfriends house, posh kinda area, got stolen on the sundaynight/monday morning, was booked in for that saturday to get an alarm fitted, got woken up at 4am by the cops on my mobile telling me they was just ina 200kmper hr chase dwn the wroung way of the m4 motorway, the thiefs then did a hand brake turn and played chiken with the police at 150kmperhr, i did get the car back damaged of course but atleast i got it back, i wish the same good fortune for urself.

  21. hey slide, i got told when i bought my car that its fitted with a single turbo 300zx turbo (vg30) any distinct part numbers or something to prove the old owner isnt full of shit?
  22. buy an import, put all filters on it, change the oil and depending on age of the car i would empty and flush the fuel tank, plus most important put some motoul in it
  23. factory automatic r32 ecu's set base timming at 20deg btdc manual comps set it at 15, i used to use a auto chipped ecu on a manual, motor lasted bout 1month at 1bar way 2 advanced
  24. compresion test with fuel washing away oil on the bore is not a acurate test, remoove the plugs + the fuel pump relay, crank the motor over and let all excess fuel out, then re oil the bore and potentialy change the engine all oil together, lightly lube the bores with small amounts of oil then allow the car to sit for a lil while then perform another compression test..
  25. my turbo sounds like a arnold swarzeneger with his nuts in a vice, realy high pitched from bout 3500 rpm (full load) i just figured steel wheel plus 18psi would make this noise, could also be the fact the internal gate bleeds off, possibly your internal gate is bleeding off cause high amounts of boost to be leaking under presure past the wastegate plate, does your boost hold solid? what amount of boost you running?
