  2. total lie...
  3. sorry i just found it funny how he think's comodore's are more targeted then jap import's... i thought i was being nice :S /shut's mouth
  4. That's goin straight to the pool room!
  5. when you know personaly the people involvd in both incident's mentioned, then you can tell me to calm down... operation taipan was on a mission to take down japanese import's..... dont try butter it up.
  6. are you f**king serious? commodore owner's had a RACE and KILLED elderly people on great western highway, withint the coming day's the police announced operation "taipan" which was a blitz on japanese import's..... dont give me your sob story crap
  7. hey just wondering which option it is to select q45 in my pfc? also will be o.k to drive if its on std map but just q45 added and selected.
  8. wow you obviously have alot of confidence in the product " or alot of spare cash" just incase its not what its cracked up to be.. lol on a side note, so happy its a map sensor based system, airflow meter's suck..
  9. yes it will retain its setting's mate.
  10. you cant engy the pod as other's have said. you technicaly cant engineer to exhaust unless you have an emission's test done with it your idea about the arc box is wroung, it's an intake modification, therefore it needs to be emission's tested... if you wished you could pay the engineer's asking price for cert, then ad stuff aloung the way, depending on the engineer you can pay per mod once the initial engy cert is done.
  11. ugh re-using timming belt's stdish rb26 rebuild $4000 +++ gate's belt $120 i know which one i'd choose, who's to say you have got the belt going the opposite way to which it was worn...
  12. your basic idea is right, however the details are wroung 1.there is no size limit "however if u have a 5inch exhaust im guessing ur legal ride height is compromissed" 2.you can have your exhaust tested at a exhaust shop, however it wont do shit for you when the police cheak it 3.the police cannot send you to the botany or penrith testing station's, they can however notify the d.e.c.c "e.p.a" which inturn will send off a nice lil letter, requesting you pay them a visit and "cheak" if you have all legel/certified modification's. also note an engineer's for the exhaust, fmic mean's jackshit because the testing station cannot certfy that is the exact same exhaust, cooler etc etc.. therefore if its not standard chance's are you will asked to rectify these problem's or head down and have it pass an emission's test.. so in short, there is nothing you can carry around with you to certify that your car is legal, from a noise side or emission's. engineer's etc only help's if the coppa doesn't do his job.
  13. well the injector's will come in handy when you have a map sensor based ecu :S... injector's will prob be needed..
  14. yup sounds about right, bottom line is they way they see it, any induction of exhaust mod change's the emission level's of the car, therefore possibly no meeting emission's... i got done for an adjustable plumbback bov when i went to clear my e.p.a bullshit, because the inspector said i could adjust it therefore change the emission's...... on a side note, the pod filter thing is also not just about what it would do to the exhaust emission's, theyre also worried about the excessive noise emission's caused by the pod filter, as it no longer has induction silencer's like the std airbox does.
  15. positive or negative on the ms? its kinda running heaps rich though atm
  16. anyone have the answear for me please!! i cant get home till i have this info lol, sumone please help.. powerfc correction numbers please
  17. is that for a pair of recaro's? or just 1 seat? pics if its a pair
  18. they are standard fitment from factory, therefore meeting emission's level's as per manufacture... short answear is its A ok!
  19. well there you go, so whats the difference between the 3 type's?
  20. yes they will, however as far as im aware there's different shading/smoked effect on the projector for gtr? although i could be wroung
  21. for the money i'd do things in order of reliability first up, i.e a good clutch, fuel pump etc, then later down the road when he's after more power, the previously mentioned mod's will come into affect and he can spend whatever he has saved up on actual power upgrade's... my 2 cents
  22. and what a great rule the "track" rule is!!! another 100year old law that doesnt mean anything on modern car's with modern brake symetry.
