Does anyone use an Apexi air pod filter are they worth the money and if you do use one do they make a difference.

Yeah my next change will be motul 10-40 i heard it is the best stuff and yes you do pay for it, im saving for it now, lol.

I use 0-40 castrol edge which was recommended by busky2k, the best change ive made. Motor runs cooler temps and starts easier, as i use to run a 10-60.

Yeah mine is the same as well, i put the shock proof oil in definately made a difference.

This is the main reason why i dont go out between Thursday to Sundays around the coast, to many cops even if you are doing nothing wrong and your car is not defectable you still get hassled. But on the other hand there are alot of idiots who attract the cops and give us a bad name. Save it for the track.

Thanks mate looks like a good idea but there is only one exhaust shop on there. I would really prefer north or westside of brisbane.

Would like to know where a good performance exhaust shop is located in Brisbane,north or westside. Which shop do you recommend. And do you have to get your car dynoed when you get a new exhaust, Thanks.

They are normally fitted with perelli P ones or get a semi slick street tyre -
Wasnt impressed with the service from Godzilla, and that was only talking to them over the phone. They didnt like to explain any questions that i had, were very short with there answers.

Was on my way til i got pulled over by the coppers near the city, i was lucky enough they let me off. They said my exhaust was to low and to loud and to take the car home. Will keep an eye out for the next post, will meet up one day.

Will be out tonight. Cant help to say the BIG cruisies that boost organise are pretty good. But as i said before you get tossers and wankers every where, or what ever you want to call them, and there's a lot with the weekly cruisies they organise. Probly wont get there til 8:30-45

Thanks to the advice from Busky, i now use a pure one oil filter and castrol edge 0w 40 best change i did from the 10w 60 edge. Motor is running cooler and starts better, And in the gearbox i run redline shock proof its well worth it.

I know it might be a bit late as you may have done your oil change but, I was running castrol 10w 60 and changed to a castrol 0w 40 best change i have done. it starts better and the motor runs cooler by about 5-10 degrees less. What i have read from this forum is the 10w 60 is mainly for high kms and race cars.

Yeah im not to sure about Godzilla motorsport, ive only heard a small handful of people that rate him. Mate give Paul Masterson a call 3352 5155 very good tuner, was telling me he was getting a FWD dyno he should have it set up by now. He is located at Stafford.

With the 0w 40 edge the car seems to run 5 degrees cooler than the 10w 60 edge.

Well busky2k i couldnt get the mobil or the motul as i went to supercrap and they dont stock it, i ended up buying the 0w40 castrol edge and a pure one filter. It should do the job. Once again thanks for all your advice.

Ok after reading all that its between the motul 8100 and the mobil 1 0w 40. I think i will just flip a coin. shaking my head lol.
