Yes they do say couple mins at warm up stage then all goes quite. Its just the noise that is annoying. Confirmed with machinist about spring tension and they are NOT 90 Pounds .My bad for the incorrect info. They are 65 pound springs as he has installed them in other 25 heads with no problems, it must just be the lifter's worn out and not sealing the oil in the lifter. New Lifters a must. Other then the lifter problem, all is sweet.

From installing 26's into 31's You need to supply 12v pos directly from the battery to the 2 relays each in question. Pins 5 and 1. The wiring for this if your loom is untouched start at the passenger side inside the engine bay near washer bottle of a GTR. It should be a large 8 or 10 pin connector. The ECU also requires a battery supply at pin 58 on the ECU main blue connector. As i said this is installing 26's into 31's and this is required to start the engines when all other loom connection's are made. If this does not work you may have other problems. Cheers.

if the fuel is not being burnt then there will be excess air that the meter is picking up on hence why lean mixture.

Are you sure your ignition sys is up to scratch to be able to burn all the air fuel mix at boost pressure?? Especially with 1000cc inj's there seam to be alot of work to burn it all . Just a thought. Cheers

I have decided to part with the 31. First to go is the Rb25 Engine is assembled with race series forged pistons 50thou over. HKS cams 9mm Lift 264 duration on the exhaust, Inlet has 8.8 mm 256 duration retaining the VCT. HKS Cam sprocket on the exhaust. Eagle rod's MLS Metal head gasket 1mm oversized valve Upgraded valve springs race series bearing's, large ends and mains. all welsh plugs replaced all heater hoses replaced Bottom end was balanced including the Jim Berry clutch. Split fire coil packs N1 water pump N1 oil Pump Crank collar Standard turbo HKS dump pipe Engine has done roughly 10,000km's since being built and is still in vehicle to be viewed. Motul 300v comp oil has only been used after the initial run in period. Loom can be supplied with engine but it will suit a 31 conversion. Once buyer has paid deposit/full amount engine will be removed and buyer can collect from Glendale N.S.W Engine is listed for sale else where. Asking $7000 Any info call Kyle 0417224107
