A way you could also check if your wiring is right, is by puling out one of the rear speakers and trying it directly off the wiring harness of the head unit, (just by holding the wires to the speaker terminals momentarily to see if it works) this will allow you to know if you confused something with the cars wiring harness.

Your antenna problem is due to you having a Pioneer head Unit, as they only have one remote or trigger wire which is common for an amplifier and an antenna. As someone mentioned, Kenwood head units have 2 wires, both are blue, one which is a constant power remote for the amplifier which is labelled P.CONT and the other a constant power which the head unit activates ONLY when the source is set to TUNER, (when your listening to the radio) this is labelled as ANT.CONT. The only way to solve your problem is a switch, or to buy a Kewnwood deck or just dont worry about it! But is it really that bad? Another way to check your speckers, (assuming everything is wired right up to now) is to swap the front and rear connections at the head unit, i.e. connect the front outputs to the back speakers, pain in the ass, yes i know, but this will allow you to rule out whether the head unit itself has a problem. You could also get another pair of speakers to try it, stock skyline ones are not that great anyways so changing tem would be a good sound investment!

Exposed pod filters are defects in NSW, how do people get around this? I was thinking of getting a panel type that goes in the standard box. Do they offer the same perfomance witht he "woosh" sound to?

Will this method work for the dash lights where the speedo gauges, etc. are? Or that a whole different setup?

Have been lookin at a few R33 series II's latley, and have noticed a subtle difference in the side skirts of some of these cars, this was hard to notice as the rest of the car was stock (i.e. front and rear bar) but the sides on some were chunkier than others, as shown with the 2 pics. Does anyone know of this chunkier style side skirt is an add on, on top of the slimmer stock side? or is it a replacement skirt? Just wondering as I am not sure which I want to have, and also incase I decide to fit one later. Any comments appreciated!

Hey, Im currently shopping around for and R33 series II, on meny of them I have notcied the headlights have lost there shiny white crystal-like new look. Many of them have a scratched matt look and the plastic has yellowed. Just wondering if anyone knows any trick or way to fix this? Also does anyone know a good place to pick up a set of new or just as good series II headlights? Thanks.
