  1. In car fire extinguisher required?? Seriously?? Is this something that will be more and more prevelant for Track days, or just something special for this one? Cheers,
  2. Sold mine some time back, but from memory there is a switch down to the right of the steering wheel (as you look at it). I also remember being told that the lights have to be on and set to High-beam for it to work.
  3. Any chance they will have Super GT racing?? Even 1 hour highlights would be good...
  4. Nice pics and write up! Thanks for posting
  5. Great racing as always!! Thanks for posting.
  6. Kinokuniya Bookstore in the CBD (Victorias Galleries) have some. They are very pricey however, with a big markup over the Japanese Yen prices. Still, silly me, I can't resist buying them...
  7. Please PM me a price on Spec-R intercoolers for an R34 GT-R. Also if possible, a price on the Greddy intercooler piping kit. Cheers
  8. What, you mean the guys that just add a GT-R badge and rear wing aren't doing it correctly?!?!
  9. Thanks for the reply The core itself is only 70mm thick, so I suspect that the modifications for this particular twin entry unit is to do with the twin entry setup itself. The non twin entry m079 ARC core does not mention any requirements for body modification. As for requiring an updated intercooler... it is more to do with I think it will improve performance somewhat and also kepp temps down on hotter days a lot more efficiently than the stock cooler. The car does have aftermarket turbos and other bolt ons so it's pushing the efficiency of the stock cooler at 328awkws I think. Even thought a stock cooler equiped car can probably still support slightly higher totals.
  10. Hopefully someone can assist me with some info about what "Body modifications" are required to fit the ARC M079BNR34GT FMIC (the twin entry one) to an R34 GT-R? I did a search on the forums but was unable to find specific info on this. Cheers
  11. Awesome to watch the reverse grid racing as always! Thanks for posting!
  12. For anyone who may be interested... stumbled across this on You Tube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j2mmRsBUZZ4...feature=related There are 4 parts... Enjoy!
  13. Maybe you'll get more bites on www.ozhonda.com forums??
  14. OK cool. Thanks for clearing that up
  15. Awesome racing vids as always from Kingscorp Question: What happened to all the later model (series 6 or later) RX-7s that from memory were seemingly dominating the category in some races from last year that you posted?
  16. Picked up a copy at lunch today. Had a brief look at the R34 Cruise. Good to see my car on there... if only very briefly Great job Andrew. Keep up the good work!
  17. Apologies if this had already been posted, but awesome vids (if sadly poor quality)! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1CdmQcXaN24...re=channel_page (there are 4 parts). Cheers
  18. Well, see now, that's constructive criticism I guess just reading your first comment it sounded a bit of a beat up, but above is a very fair point. Anyway, don't want to turn this into a debate. Nuff said from me!
  19. Well, I'll be buying it anyway... Guess from some of the very professional and constructive criticisms from above, that would make me a juvenile? Seriously, if you can point me to other import vids that I should buy instead let me know?? don't know Andrew myself, but I know he took the time to turn up to the R34 Anniversary cruise, and no doubt other events to cover them, and therby help put Skylines Australia and import car cultures out there to other enthusiasts... I would hate to see Andrew, and other media types driven away from covering these sorts of events because of some sort of agendas from some people on here. Like to hear constructive criticism about stuff, but the above drivel sounds far more like personal attacks on Andrew and his product. IMO it lowers the tone of the forums. Anyway, said my bit for anyone who gives a toss about it
  20. You see I am completely the opposite... Always loved the look of Supras with either the standard wing or a GT Wing. IMO they are one car that can get away with outlandish bodykits because the factory shape is so bulky/curved. One of my pet hates is seeing Supras with no wings (seems to be about 70% or higher these days). IMO they look like they are missing something... (which they are). But each to their own as they say...
  21. Had my car tuned at Tunehouse earlier in the week. Very impressed with the setup there and the help and advice and overall professionalism of Jim and co! The dyno room is one very impressive setup! OK, Plug over, now onto the details... Specs: Standard RB26 with no internal mods (so boost kept to max of 1.2Bar) Apexi Power FC Greddy profec B II EBC Trust T517Z Turbos (8cm... I believe) Trust dump pipes. HKS front pipe Midori Cat Fujitsubo Legalis R cat back. Trust/Greddy Radiator and Oil cooler Tomei cam gears Nismo 600cc injectors Nismo FPR and Fuel Pump Splitfire coils Greddy panel filter in standard airbox. Everything else engine related is standard... Nismo Super Coppermix Twin C-Spec clutch. Result: 328.1awkw at 18PSI 513.8 Nm (second line shows a run @ 14psi)
  22. http://www.smh.com.au/national/teen-sellin...90731-e3cj.html Hmmm... So what car was it? Sux to hear about this sort of stuff regardless...
  23. I don't regret that you did On a side note... the BNR34 Nismo Coppermix C-Spec supports 780hp (574kw) according to the Nismo site. The standard Coppermix for the R34 GT-R supports 640ps (471kw)...
  24. Interested in this, but have a question first: Anyone know how much heavier/more bitey the C-Spec is to the "standard" Coppermix Twin? Just a bit wary that the extra HP handling in the C-Spec comes at a large tradeoff in driveability? Input from those that have tried them both preferably...
