  1. assuming bodgy means the same as ghetto. i assure you its not.. but thats your opinion... ive been driving with it for about 2 weeks now and im very happy, not only was it free to change, but it works great and makes a huge difference. but if your worried about looks you can go spend $250 or whatever for a aftermarket sway, up to you... Update: i just changed out my stock endlink and mount bushings for polyurethane, and the front end is solid, i love it!! im also running, Tein coilovers with 12k front and 10k rear springs, polyurethane endlinks front and back, adjustable camber arms, a nismo 2 way, and a few other non-drivetrain/suspension goodies. only had the car for 2 months so im still just starting. long story short, nothing bodgy about this upgrade...
  2. hahaha... wow you might just need an alignment if there is no slop present... but if otherwise// replace them and fix the boots.... tie-rods dont contain fluid, they use grease.
  3. cut springs.... buy used coilovers... got my first set of apex's for $250 worked great only thing was they were only 6k 4k. but they worked for dropping it to the ground...
  4. rear is usually set lower to increase the amount of weight balance that sits over the rear wheels it increases traction and makes the car handle a little more neutral then the standard front-heavy. and when breaking for a corner usually saves you a bit of understeer.
  5. can i see a whole front end pic of these? did you do the corner lights also..?
  6. im sorry but did we go over how to seperate the side-blinkers also? i have the clear ones and ofcourse i want those to match black also... do i do it the same way... with heat and such?
  7. just buy a descent aftermarket 4-channel amp, one that can fit under the seat run the speakers to that then all you have to run RCA's to the head unit. much cleaner and easier in my opinion.
  8. Umm there is Up-Garage... or are you looking for online only... any part in particular, i go to about 4 different Up-Garages every week in my area, which is West Tokyo.
  9. Story: So a friend of mine was junking his fairlady in the stall next to me at the hobby shop and since i had just drifted into a curb on the touge the other day i was in need of a sway-bar. so i thought id try and amazingly it fit with very small modification. im sure most of you know about this mod but since i didnt see this in "how to" i thought wtf cause it saved me $180. How to: Remove Torsein Rods Then take the Z32 brackets and drill the circular holes to fit the stock R32 bolts. Refitting the bar to the car is a bit of a bitch but it can be done trust me. there are two mounting points on each bracket, a bolt and a nut (hole and slot), i recommend installing the bolt first then the nut and maybe using a jack to hold the bar seccure to the car when starting the bolts. Then bolt the stock endlinks up like normal. yes they fit fine. new sway bar diameter 26.5mm! notice floor jack used for assisting in starting the bolts. it may look lower than usual but its not. look at how low my car is, it still doesnt hit anything. Enjoy!
  10. check U-joints - get under the car and turn the drive shaft back and forth by hand check for play. there should be no side to side (i mean like left to right or up and down) there should be a little turn-play but not much... check diff mounts and subframe mounts - those are the rubber mounts that are inbetween the car and the sub-frame/diff. if its happening during deccel or accel its prolly the diff mount.. and last but not least check YOUR LUGNUTS! seriously the come loose sometimes, happened to me i felt stupid haha... good luck...
  11. look into a ballbearing unit, spool time eliminated... GT30 aint bad... 400 hp
