Sizzler in Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast. After we saw found out what had happened we went back there and spoke to the Manager and guess what we found? The two cars that got keyed were directly under a brand new 8megapixel live security camera =)

Sorry to hear Ein All of my car friends went to sizzler last night and while we were eating two of the cars got keyed on every panel bar the roofs....its so so shallow, damn it annoys me >.<

Lol thats hilarious, much difference in power output? What about fuel consumption to area of grass cut ratio? ...serious note though. Ive used BP ultimate for ever, i put V-power in and i love it. Who knows, it may be the placebo effect from good advertising, but im pretty sure I noticed a difference. f**ken expensive thuogh sheeesh.

I suggest you ring PPQ and ask for the dimensions of the plate itself. Measure it up on ur car, and bob's your uncle.

I agree totally with Jmac. Oh maybe totally. What he said is completely true about boostcruising cruises in comparison to the SCC...cant compare them in regards to organisation and structure. However in saying that very few ppl were dickheads on the day is true...i still think old mate no front bar R34 should have his HKS SSQ blow off valve taken from him as i think he really enjoys the sound of it above 6k RPM. Cheers for the cruise.

Hey guys, I gotta use SAU to pick your brains again. Driving home from Brisbane on the weekend and my amp in the boot shat itself. When i opened the boot smoke was pouring out of the amp. I disconnected it and jumped back in the car and kept going. When i turned the car back on the digital clock in the dash and my head unit both had no power. Pretty sure it is a fuse ive blown...but can someone shed some light if it might not be or which fuse it actually is?? I drive a 94 s1 R33, would it be one of the fuses in the fusebox in the engine bay? or the one in the boot next to the battery? Cheers guys?
-
Your problems lie within your bottom end mate. Rip off the head and have a look in your 2nd and 4th chambers...im sure that will shed some light is to whats wrong.
-
hehe thanks guys. What i meant about the common problem was the loss of compression in pot number 1. Sorry about the confusion. Unsure about the crank actually Col, will have to get back to you on that one. Haha yeh she is in tatters atm hey matty, ah well it looks like this thursday she will be back out I wanna see borat god dammit. Did u go to the big screen?

Cheers guys Once the the new engine is properly run in, ill take it to the dyno and get some results as well. So hopefully all goes to plan

Heya Guys, Well a little over 3 months ago now I imported my dream car, a Series 1 R33 GTS-t to be the first owner in Australia However we found not long after that there were a few engine issues that were quite common in the RB25's, that needed to be sorted out. So after a few weeks of saving the pennies my mechanic and I sat down and brainstormed the best plan of action. It resulted in the following: Week 1: Engine was stripped and removed from the car to reveal the following... As you can see the rings have been obliterated. What we feared was scoring of the bore, which would result in boring out and a hone, which was more cost we didn't want, but.... Chamber 1, plenty of scores there...too many to ignore. Week 2: The block was sent away to the engine shop to get machined. Bored out. We were awaiting the order for the Arias forged pistons to arrive so the machining of the bore could be guaged properly. These have now arrived!! Forgies. Metal Head Gasket. Well, So far so good. The block arrives back today from the engine shop...so we can get building again. I will update the post as it unfolds Cheers guys, Sam.
