  2. Eat less but try and eat better! Minimise carbs on non training days and work out hard!!! I'm finally down below 80kg for the first time in almost 15years!!!! When I first started gym again 14 months ago, was almost 87kg and 20% body fat, I hit 79.8kg today - haven't checked % body fat but should be down to 15% possibly less hopefully!

  5. So how does one go from 13 pull-ups to 20 in a few weeks? Ie what's the best way to improve on these in such a short amount of time?

  10. Didn't interact with them at all. They are pretty clear that customer interaction is not given. I ordered from the website and 2 days later it arrived. Received updates along, so no issue there.

  12. I bought some of this protein powder to try. http://www.legitnutrients.com.au/ It tastes ok even without any flavouring. Tastes like nothing lol. But it froths up heaps and after you drink it there is a heap of froth left over. Never had a protein that froths up that much.. anyone know why it does?

  15. I did 120kg 1RM on the bench and tried the 140kg PPP, by week 4 it was too much. I was giving myself 3 minutes between sets which probably wasn;t enough but even then the weight would have been a struggle. I think 10kg is safe, 15kg is hard and 20kg is really pushing it, if not too much.

Got Rex to build me exhaust manifold for my 2.2 VE SR motor... its a T4 twin scroll manifold with twin 38mm gates Love the work on this thing, welds are nice and smooth, the collector is very smooth on the inside and it looks fantastic. Highly rate his skills and a top guy to deal with! Thanks heaps Rex Some pictures
  19. No doubt. I'll get a video but wanted to try it first! Its a lot harder when having to think about ensuring going all the way down, not pausing blah blah blah. Just read the rules again... "each rep is to come to a complete stop at the bottom"...hhmmmm gotta check that one....
  20. I did this tonight. No vid taken - refer GTR_JOEY above... Managed 16 - not sure if the form was strict enough or not though!
  21. I used to get them all the time when I was younger. Hurt like hell. The last time was over 10yrs ago now even though they haven't been removed. The last time, I went to hospital and the Dr said I had the biggest quincy she had ever seen (ball of pus on my throat). The pain was terrible. To get rid of it they sprayed something to make it numb, then they jabbed it with a needle in it, then they got a scalpel and cut it (shit myself when they put in my mouth!!!) - the amount of pus and blood that came out was incredible (yes disgusting!). Gave me some steroids and antibiotics etc and never had bad tonsilitis ever again.
  22. I did 11. Have the vid but havent posted. I was going to try again last night but did week 2 of the PPP. Stuffed up and grabbed a 25kg plate instead of a 20kg so one side was 5kg heavier than the other - was thinking why the heck does this feel so heavy and awkward! Was wrecked so didn't bother with the challenge. Most I could have done would have been 12-14 if I was lucky so still not good enough.

  24. I did this last night. Firstly, Troy well done on the 14 mate - top effort and Husky33, despite Markos' disappointment lol, 25 reps is a massive effort and is another level. I weighed 81.0kg on the day and put on 122.5kg on the bar. Managed only 11 before I buckled and even some of those are not the best.. I did get it on video but not happy with it to post up lol! I want to give it another go next week when I'm feeling better and have no excuses. BTW is age taken into consideration?
  25. Did the 125kg squat program week 1 tonight and went well. Excited to finally get this started and see where it goes. Is it better to squat in socks only or whilst not ideal wear sneakers? I don't have squat shoes. Same for deads?
