  1. I think it will be OK. There's a 180sx 2.0 VE non VVL, with a 6466 that made 536rwk@34psi with quite reasonable response. Then there's James NFI's S15 2.3 VE VVL, with a 6262 that made 430rwk@24psi with ballistic response (but yet to have final tune). With my motor 2.2 VE VVL I figure the next size above from James should still provide enough response yet be able to make 450-500rwk should we choose to push it that far. It will be either a 6266 or a 6466.
  2. Yeah, things got a bit out of hand with the engine build and from what I have seen so far this turbo should still have good enough response yet make massive power. Its either this or the 6266. Will see how we go.
  3. Top results Jez! Precision 5858 sold. Time for a 6466 T4 twin scroll!
  4. Oh no FIGJAM you got a disapproval from TTT - quick make a witty comment about squats again
  5. Damn that's a shame, you could have saved $6 bucks!!

  7. Was waiting for that... but not from you!!!! Will give them a crack and see how we go.
  8. Played cricket on the weekend and got hit on the thigh. Have a massive bruise. Should I train legs including squats or should I leave it until the bruise goes away?
  9. Sensational. Love the gearbox! What power is this making now?
  10. On a personal note, am down to 82.95kg. First time below 83kg and down from almost 87kg a few weeks back!
  11. LOL. Mate you've been on a rampage for the last month, what the fark happened to you? That's a rhetorical qn btw.
  12. I think you've both made valid points. Lets move on
  13. Nice. You don't see many cars coming in anymore like this. Good luck with it.
  14. Just the way you talk it up Nah just kidding. I thought you were doing decent weights on some of the lifts so thought you'd do more on that exercise.
  15. I thought you'd be doing heavier than that. is that for a straight press or is that press twist (not sure on the real name for it)? Re the angle, I've dropped it down a bit from 45 to lessen the strain on the front delt which I am overworking at the moment.
  16. Yeah that's the plan . If it doesn't sell then will just use the 5858 for now then upgrade everything later (again lol).
  17. I might be selling my 5858 BB turbo. Brand new, box hasn't even been opened!! After $1450 for it. Thinking about going bigger (6262) as the engine being built will need a bigger turbo! If interested PM me.
  18. Thanks guys Will definitely try and do a 1RM for squat going as low as I can physically go. I'll try the 170 for deadlift. Cant do the bench now as physio has said no benching/chest exercises for a while and I haven't done any for almost 4 weeks now. Didn't realise there was a PTC here in Sydney - I have to check it out!
  19. Been looking at the PPP and trying to work out where to start, so from those using it some advice please. Current stats - 5"7 85kg, bodyfat around 20% and have been training for 11 months. Current 1RM: Deadlift - 160kg (that was tough!) Bench - have never done a 1 rep maximum and normally I stop 1" above my chest (that will change with this program and will ensure the bar touches my chest on all lifts). I think I would be able to do 110kg-120kg Squat - As above but have done 120kg but not what most would call a 'full deep squat' so reckon I should be able to do 100-110kg that goes deep enough. So firstly, don't flame for the above, secondly what weights are recommended I start for each lift?
  20. Yep, I got ya - all good! OK so time is flexible. I'll try between 60-120 seconds per set and see how I go. I'm planning on keeping a log on this one. Noted re the squats and deads but I'll most likely mix it up. Cheers.
  21. Thanks. I did read the pre-text and that is how I understood it ie 1 lift per day. Monday - Chest, Wednesday - Squat, Friday - Deadlift. In addition to that I am planning on doing 3 additional assistance exercises that compliment that lift. So 4 exercises in total for that lift. So how long in between each set of the PPP for the major lifts?
  22. This is going to be interesting! I cant start the bench yet as I'm still recovering from the bicep tendonitis but I can get into the squat and deadlift program... actually might wait and do all three together so I can judge the progress equally. So just to confirm, what I'm planning on doing is doing the 3 lifts weekly and throw a 4th day in there somewhere when I can either do general exercises and cardio or possibly alternating between each lift so each lifts gets a turn on getting done twice a week. On the 3 lift days, I will do the program as per my PB for the individual lift starting with week 1 (is it 60 seconds between sets?) Then I plan on doing 3 other 'assistance' exercises from the list (or some others). Does that sound OK?
  23. Thanks Markos, appreciate the trust. Will pay tonight.
  24. And I asked for it..! - I'll deposit the money tonight using 'SRS13' as reference - need my other phone as CBA send me an approval via sms for security reasons! Cheers.
