  1. Hi All, Have for sale the following; Microtech MT8 Computer (Laptop Version) Microtech Wiring Harness Microtech Air Temp Sensor Microtech Dash Unit, mounting bracket and cable Microtech Laptop Dongle This is a stand alone computer and does not use an Air Flow meter. Below is the link for the microtech software so all you need is a laptop and you can start playing! http://www.microtechefi.com/microtech-software.php The LT8 retails at $1095 (NB mine is an MT8, not sure on differences, if any). It can be tuned using the dash, a laptop or a hand controller. http://www.microtechefi.com/microtech-prod...hp?product_id=3 The Dash unit retails at $495. It can be used to tune the computer as well as displaying parameters such as revs, boost, water temp, volt and air temp readings and a staged shift light. It is perfect for the track. This is one part of the system I am devastated to lose! http://www.microtechefi.com/microtech-prod...p?product_id=11 Other information is in the link. Selling as I installed a Power FC D Jetro. All up value is around $1600. Will sell as a complete package for $950. PM or SMS/contact on 0403 434 495. Pics; [/url]
  2. Yes, not ideal but I have no choice unless someone has some used pads to suit AP CP6200 calipers???
  3. No prob's. Should add that it does require some effort to fit up ie it isn't exactly bolt in. Main hoop fits fine but the rear and front legs require cutting and drilling to fit up.
  4. A 6 point bolt in cage with harness bar for a S13 Silvia was $1050. Add $240 for side intrusion bars. I imagine an R33 would be slightly more due to the extra size but shouldn't be a great deal more. They charge over a $1000 to install though, so would be best to do this yourself or get someone to do it for you which is what I am looking at doing.
  5. Would it be the same if bedding in brakes and rotors? Or is some light street driving beneficial before the 140-60 and 80-20 stops?
  6. What are the plans for the car? Was this car from Japan?
  7. Hi, Have a set of 4 Toyo R888 Semi Slicks for sale. Information: Size is 235/40/17 for all 4. They are GG compound - they are not the parallel import compound which I believe are the GGG. Condition: See pics. They were bought second hand but not used. Tread wear is even with no cambering. Would have between 3-6 track days left in them. They feel soft and I would imagine be very grippy. Only minor issue is 2 of them have a 'groove' from hitting the body of the car they were on. I was told this should not impact how they drive. Price: $600 - Not at fussed if these don't sell. Second hand semis are hard to come by as I discovered when selling the previous sets.. had up to 10 guys calling me about them and these are alot better than they were! Located in Sydney. Not willing to post at this stage unless you are able to organise a courier. Can drop them off at a courier location in Sydney to assist. Best is to SMS me on 0403 434 495 or PM. Pic of the groove in the first tyre Pic of the groove in the second tyre Thanks.
  8. My rego is up for renewal and is due on June 23rd. The car has done 2500kms I reckon in the last 2 years and all of those were to and from the track and tuners! I was contemplating not renewing it as I have stripped the interior and am installing a Bonds roll cage (brad: I should have got a weld in rear half cage with removable fronts doh) but I like the fact I can jump in and go around the block, drive it to the tuners, to get petrol etc etc Luckily for me a friend just built a trailer so I can use that and his ute when he is not using it! What is this club or rally rego people are talking about?
  9. Yeah that's what I thought of; cheaper to replace. For the price I paid I am certainly not going to complain! Whilst I liked the idea of having a 330mm rotor the extra 6mm would be hard to notice out on the track I would imagine.
  10. rbr31andrew: where are you getting your kit from? I am unsure of the product number for that rotor size. I just went out to measure the disc thickness and the thickness was 30mm. I tried measuring the diameter last night and I'm sure it was 330mm. I am unsure if DBA 5000 come in a 330mm x 30mm. When I spoke to V-Sport who make up the kit, they advised they often use a 324mm rotor. So I could have 324mm x 30mm size. When I take the wheels off again will measure the rotor diameter to be certain. I am not fussed as it should make the rotor replacement cheaper as the sizes are more common. The model numbers for the 324mm x 30mm are as linked; could not find anything abut 330mm x 30mm or 32mm. Could be easier to call them on +2 +9748 0211 DBA Site Cheers.
  11. The kit is comprised of; AP Racing 6600 calipers DBA 5000 330mm 2 piece rotors Ferodo DS 2500 pads Mounting kit.
  12. This is the brake kit I bought. It is going on a S13 Silvia so should provide ample stopping power I would think!
  13. Great. What is the difference between the 5200 caliper and 6600 caliper? Edit: Just looked at the AP site and the 5200 has a smaller mounting centre and is lighter by 200grams but uses a slightly smaller pad. I am picking up my AP kit this morning. Will post pics when I get it.
  14. All items sold except Blitz wheels. Thanks.
  15. I'd go with option 4 and try and upgrade to the DBA 5000. Do you know what the kit is worth with the DBA 5000?. However I have been told by a Sydney brake specialist that the newer DBA 4000 series are improved over the old series that created the bad reputation. I believe the slots do not go all the way to the edge of the rotor like the old ones did.
  16. This has some good information. Use at own risk lol Stoptech Brake Technical Information
  17. Hi Mate, Is the sump still for sale? If so will take it. Let me know. Cheers.

  22. Hi, Have the following items for sale; 324mm Brake Upgrade Kit S14 Calipers and rotors drilled to 4 stud R32 GTR Front Calipers Yokohama Advan 235/45/17 Semi's RE 55's 235/45/17 semi's 17 x 7.5 + 35 ALT Wheels 16x7 & 16x8 Blitz Wheels Whiteline Front Strut Brace Info below. All items located in Sydney. All prices are near offer! Need these gone! Can be contacted by PM or 0403 434 495. BRAKES Selling all these brake items as I am looking to upgrade to an AP Racing Kit. 1. 324mm Big Brake Upgrade Kit for S14/S15/R32/R33/Z32 300ZX Price: $480 ono This kit can be used with your standard calipers. You bolt this kit on to use a 324mm GTR Brembo sized rotor which not only looks better but provides better braking ability. This was only used for approximately 5000km. I have not used it I have only fitted it to make sure it all fits up which it does. I bought the kit to use with the R32 GTR calipers but they did not fit. Kit contains; 324mm GTR sized DBA 4000 rotors Brackets to mount the caliper in the new position All bolts, nuts and washers to fit Ferodo Formula Pads (Standard sized pads can also be used and are recommended by some) This is the same kit as this on ebay which sells for $900 http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...em=130094159891 2. S14 Brake Calipers with S14 rotors that have been redrilled to 4 stud. Price: $350 ono S14 calipers in reasonably good condition with rotors. Can use these on S13/180SX without having to do a 5 stud conversion. These were on my car for 25000km and did quite a few track days. They stop really well and I had no problems whatsoever with them. The rotors were machined approx 3000km's ago. The rust is from water that fell on the rotor - this will come straight off after a light drive. Will throw in Lucas TRW pads that have only done one track day ie 400km's. Caliper pics above ^^^^ 3. R32 GTR Front Brake Calipers Price: $280 ono R32 GTR front calipers that I bought but never used. Was told they came off a 1992 R32 with 70,000km's. Bought off a respected member on here. I have painted them with the intent to put onto the car. These do not fit with the 324mm brake upgrade kit (I was told they did ) which is why I bought them. SEMI SLICKS 1. Yokohama Advan AO48 235/45/17 Full Set of 4 Price: $300 ono OK condition, good for a few track days. Bought these a little while ago but never got round to fitting them up. Have been stored in my garage. 2. Bridgestone RE55's 235/45/17 Full Set of 4 Price: See below Still have a few track days in them maybe more. I changed to 5 stud so could not use the wheels they were on. They are still on the wheels. WHEELS 1. 17x7.5 + 35 all 4 ALT Wheels Price: $600 ono with the RE55's semi's Some gutter rash, but they made great track wheels and or drift wheels. Have the Bridgestones semi on them. Would prefer to sell together with the RE55's but can separate at buyers expense. Worst of the gutter rash 2. Blitz Rims 16 x 7 and 16 x 8 I think +35 and + 38 Price: $250 for all 4 One of the 16 x 8 rims has a chunk missing on the inside of the rim (probably 5-8cm wide) that would need to be repaired. Not knowing this I drove on the rim from Wakefield Park to Sydney and it drove fine, no wobble or sign of a buckle nor leaking tyre. No pics but they look like these; not in as good nick though! http://www.japanautoswrec.info/DSCF0861.JPG STRUT BRACE 1. Whiteline Adjustable Front Strut Brace Price: $100 ono Don't need this as I have a Cusco Brace. Bought off a NS.com member. Came off a 180SX SR20DET.
  23. They are great times you guys are running - well done. That trackvision is fantastic, I need to get more info on that! R32 Stuart: What mods have you done to the car, engine, brakes, suspension, tyres, weight red etc? From the sounds of it it 'seems' relatively minor but it's bloody quick!
  24. When I read the article, I would have to agree that it did seem the journalist was in fact biased towards the Porsche... mainly because he actually liked the car more. The way he spoke about the Porsche told you that he loved it. Whether he had made up his mind before the test is another matter. He was kicking the GTR a little bit. Things like, "let the car do all the work", "nothing for the driver to do other than to hang on". If this was a gripe he didn't present it as such giving the impression that he was indirectly having a go at the cars 'electronic' performance. In a out and out performance test, the $160k GTR is out performed by a $447K Porsche - just. In a Bang for Bucks test the $447k Porsche is killed by the $160K GTR. Nissan fans have nothing to be upset about. If only the Spec V was 200kg lighter and had 50kw more!!!!!!
