  1. Thanks. Have you tried the 327mm set up with the same Bendix pads for a direct comparison? Just trying to work out if the pads made most of the difference or the increased rotor size.
  2. Old thread but I didn't want to start a new one. I am looking at doing the above and was wondering if anyone has compared the two - 324mm with spacer vs 296mm stocker? On the kits I have seen bigger brake pads are used to suit the GTR caliper that give greater rotor coverage. Anyone heard of this before? Are these adapter kits more prone to crack the DBA 4000 rotor with track work? Cheers.
  3. What are the widths of the Volk's F- Zero? I assume by the size of the tyres possibly 17x7.5 +29 and 17x8 +32. Can you confirm? Cheers.
  4. Some information for you (please dont take offense to this, I am merely giving you some evidence of what others have been trying to tell you..) Driftek for Sale on NS.com These were advertised for $1000 ono and 2 days later they were sold...
  5. Yeah old post but another way to do it (as per the whirlpool forums) is create a new user account on your PS3 using the American PSN store with an American address (use US white pages) or make a fake one. Create an Entropay account (google entropay) using the same fake American address but use your real address and credit card number. Add funds to your entropay account (virtual visa card) and then purchase on the US PSN account using the entropay visa card.
  6. Anyone here play Street Fighter 2 HD?
  7. I believe the 350Z Brembo has greater offset so sits 5mm further out than the GTR caliper. This would mean you would need greater wheel clearance to clear the 350 caliper.
  8. In the "Best Motoring 2009-1 Nismo GT-R Keiichi Tsuchiya Impression" video on the same page, the Nismo R35 GTR does the same track in 2:00.79 whereas the 09 GTR does it 1:59.51... Makes you question the value for money for the Nismo product. Looks like Nismo might lose some business
  9. Where can you get these prices? PM me if that is more appropriate.

    R35 Gtr

Dont have pics, but imagine a grey R35 GTR parked on the grass off the track at EC with light smoke coming from the bonnet. Then picture the driver sitting next to it on the fence, helmet in hand, head down on chest... Wasn't a good picture...
  11. Am after R32 GTR rotors. Probably prefer second hand for now as I will be getting some RDA slotted later. Have to be decent enough for track days but not fussed if they are slotted or not. Am in Sydney and can pick up. PM me. Cheers.
  12. What are the width and offsets? 4 stud and 5 stud or just 5? Cheers.

    R35 Gtr

It was the Haltech car. It did it at a Private practise day at Eastern Creek. It was posted in the Haltech R35 GTR thread a few weeks ago...

    R35 Loses

Good video. It's great to see car mags flog the crap out of these cars - this is what most of us want to see! Is it fair... who cares? I just want to see these things fly . How often do you see a Ferrari, Porsche and other hi-po cars drag like that??? Oh and yes, drag racing is also fun. Was amazed to see the GT2 pull past the GTR as quick as it did though The Z06 is a farkin machine. Forget the badge for a second - lightweight, big power, great handling, manual transmission, stupidly quick and its comparatively cheap! What more could you want...
  15. The track announcer said it had blown the motor. Certainly would not want to pay for that. It's a shame really you have to feel sorry for them. Especially seeing the driver just sitting on the wall, helmet in hand. Didn't look happy at all. Being selfish, it was quite frustrating for all the L2S guys as the session that had only just started was cancelled as a result. I must say I got quite excited when I left pit lane to enter the track for the first time and the very first car that passes was an R35 GTR! Even then, I caught it 2-3 laps later and passed it so dont think the owner was pushing as hard they could.
  16. This car was at the Eastern Creek private practise day on Friday 24th. Certainly was not very quick - or was not as quick as I expected. I actually overtook him underbrakes into turn 2. I think they were just testing as opposed to trying to go flat out as I imagine it would be alot quicker that that. In the 4th session the cars motor blew! It was sitting on the grass and had dropped oil on the track. They cancelled the session as a result.
  17. Size 66? Check this out - might be worth trying to squeeze into... http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Sparco-Racing-suit_...1QQcmdZViewItem
  18. With the mods you are doing, am surprised you are sticking with the 'old' HKS T300 turbo. What are you expecting it to produce?
  19. Would those seats bolt into a S13? Sorry couldnt help myself...
  20. What is the condition like? Adjustable? What does it weigh? Thanks.
  21. Good luck with it - if the N1's enabled you to run 137mph then these should give you enough power! 1:02 at Wakefield will be blisteringly quick on a short tight track. How much boost you going to run and what power are you aiming for with this set-up? Great to see you guys are going all out and not doing it half arsed!
  22. Have you changed turbos from N1's to 2860-5's? Any reason why you didn't go 2.8lt? Do you think this will give enough power considering the Saurus car runs a T88 and a RB30?
