  3. 10_4 - good effort but yep need to go lower so it touches the chest. Why cant you use a barbell and bench? (was it cause the gym doesn't have them??)
  4. WTF?? questions why he has that photo..... That shit ain't right - someone ban him Whats all this talk about squats and shorts anyway?? Its a bench press thread lol post more vids peoples
  5. I cant say that I know exactly what that means or that I do or don't do it but I try to 'plant' my legs, get a good strong base and then drive with my whole body. Open to suggestions to improve the technique . Thanks Nick. Don't think I can do many more than that but will give it another crack.
  6. Thanks Birds and thanks for posting. tried for the 19th rep but just couldn't push it out. Bit embarrassing but hey! I was happy thinking I beat rev's 17 and then he goes and does the 22 the SOB lol I'm down to 79kg now (from 86kg over 6 months ago). Trozzle - just post up mate. It's not about winning or losing, it's about giving it a crack and improving your own performance.
  7. No problems! Sorry for the headache and thanks for helping out.
  8. Fark rev too strong! Well done!!
  9. Great to see thread come alive lol I just did this and have a video. Can I send it to someone to post up as my last few attempts to post videos failed miserably! Thanks in advance.
  10. Top effort revs! That's going to take some beating.
  11. Up to week 7 of the PPP. Doing the 180kg on deadlift, 130kg bench and 130kg squat. Going ok so far and feel I'm getting stronger. Looking at the program the next few weeks are going to be tough.
  12. 50 reps? Good luck with that for anyone on here! I agree and think 20 would be a great number. I think I can get to 16 but wont try again till Friday - will get a vid. Out of curiosity, how many people are going to give this a crack?
  13. You've got to try it when fresh! 9 is a good effort after 8 sets of chest!!!!! Were all the other sets touching the chest?
  14. Good stuff! I tried today but no video as noone around. Managed 15 at 80kg. Will make sure I get a video next time!
  15. Congrats Birds! I was going to say the same thing as rev re Birds being the winner for posting first so no issue there. Birds if you do want to have a chat re the next challenge, drop me a PM but I'm ok either way
  16. Could not recommend it for you.... It will get very very very expensive!
  17. Good for batting not good for fielding!!
  18. Double post.
  19. It's on now on foxtel 512 speed.
  20. I have that discussion before and can't be stuffed entering into it again.
  21. Are you kidding lol they get you all fired up and focused, there great for batting and sports like that....... well great if it weren't for the injuries! Anyways just wanted to see if others has any similar experiences but clearly not!
  22. Cmon rev, what is that?? cant see the entire pull up and your clearly not straightening your arms all the way... you should know better mate
  23. Still not anywhere near enough to win, but I reckon I should be credited for 13.5 I'll give it another crack soon.
  24. I'm not sure about that lol yes definitely getting old and that doesnt help, but have taken pre-workout 4 times when playing cricket and 3 times resulted in strained hamstring, all when really making quick movements. Have played since I was 10 and has never happened any other time, only when I took the pre-workout. So dont take it anymore for cricket.
  25. For those that take pre-workouts, have you found that you are more susceptible to muscular injuries or even twinges, particularly when making quick movements ie sudden changes of direction or sprinting etc??
