I have a non-turbo R34 and the exhaust keeps popping. a mechinic told me that it was the high tension leads and that i will need new ones? another mate said that there aren't any leads there! so i was wondering if there are any or not and how do i fix this popping noise?

wouldnt getting another engine be easier and cheaper? putting a turbo on the current engine, wouldnt that be a bit costly?
