It was designed to be placed where the grill is currently...ARC make a replacement grill if you don't want it out in the open for all to see. (refer Pic's above) However it was mounted behind the bonnet latch, instead of in front of it, to retain std. grill and look. Your choice and it's cheap as chips at the current price. Doughboy answered the low km question for me..refer above. The rods are a matching set of six in excellent condition and will stand up to any examination, by anyone. It would be money well spent for peace of mind. your choice? Happy New Year to all.

No.....just the cooler. At retail you can buy the cooler by itself or with the other fittings etc....that's why "Chaser" price is from $2200 at the moment. Fitting, lines etc. can be brought almost anywhere.

Carrillo are arguably the best rods available. Alloy rods tend to stretch. These are H-Beam, not I- Beam and are Forged chrome moly with the best rod bolts you can buy...you can't get much stronger. If your interested....pick a Brisbane Engineering firm to check them out for you, prior to buying?? I'm not into selling crap to people...unlike some others that have on this Forums. regards Phillip

(A lightweight rod) At the factory they are heat treated, then magnaflux inspected and hardness checked, then machined to final size. Each set of rods is balanced and then shot peened to achieve the ultimate in strength and fatigue properties. The rod bolts are the multiphase SPS-CARR units. These rod bolts have a design tensile strength of 285,000 PSI and are designed to be a non-replacement type fastener. These are low kilometer rods with a replacement value of $3600 for sale at $1900. I'd say you've been had.....by a friendly set-up. Don't believe the revenue raiser (Police Imposter) would have a second hand-held camera or have the time to react, after their jaw just dropped. Keep up the good work....there are too many revenue raisers in the Traffic branch and the "Betty" Government and I'm sure the Premier's name is Betty. Had a (Police Imposter) edge me on to hit the speed limiter once. He was in an unmarked car, Tail-gating and driving eradically beside, then behind and then way behind. I waited for him to catch up, when he put the light on the roof. I pulled over and when he got to my door, I abused the crap out of him.....never got booked....he just wanted to see how quick the REX was. Just because they wear a uniform, doesn't mean they have gained any purity, wisdom and above all commonsense. Talk to anyone in the traffic branch and it will only turn into a heated disscussion and or arguement. Have fun safely, theres a time and place for everything. Including exceeding the speed limit.

no blinkers.....they won't be supplied with any bar you decide to buy. However, the std. GTR blinkers fit. These can be sourced second-hand. The supports are the same as for the std. bar.....the front guards, underbody diffusers and front steel transverse member just under the grill which spans from guard to guard.

That pic..looks like R33 GTR sump. But you can only tell from a pic on the other side...where the front diff housing is part of the sump. regards

The 400R is for a R33 GTR....But assume your set on a copy of or Standard Series 2 bar. If I see or hear of one for sale...will put them on to you or let you know. regards Phillip
